The Old Forge Pumphouse Annex

My partner and I booked to stay at the old pump house annexe for a few days after a less relaxing trip elsewhere. The accommodation offered here by Cathy was wonderful. The house is set in a tranquil location right next to the river, their gardens are stunning and really added to the relaxing atmosphere I think they have been trying to create here. The annex was exceptionally clean, equipped with everything you needed in the kitchen (kitchenware, crockery, cutlery, condiments, an oven and microwave); the bathroom was lovely, with handsoap, toilet paper, etc. There was a TV with a choice of DVDs and a radio. Cathy offers an information folder with local attractions and eateries. We visited Ferryside beach, Laugharne Castle, Llansteffan Beach and Castle. We visited Llyn y Fan Fach (Lake) in the Brecon beacons (an hour away) and Rhossili (also an hour). The annexe was a good base for exploring the local area. Thank you for a great stay Cathy!

Beautiful accommodation beautiful setting and the owners very welcoming and obliging.

A really nice place to get away from everyday life so peaceful . Well appointed little annex had everything you need for a quiet few days away and hopefully get to go back again soon

I've been going here since the 80s and it's one of my favourite fishing spots and there's some interesting history here and it's Hard to get to by car but there are public footpaths to this place 👍
