Start here to put yourself on the South Downs Way. There are so many trails. We whipped round Kingley Vale. Then, out towards Chichester for a recharge at Wellies Tearooms (100% prebook). Finally, we pushed up Trundle Hill to get a great view of Goodwood and back to the car. There is a lovely stop for coffees just off the car park.

Top Tip: it’s a small car park and it’s free. So, bare that in mind when you’re planning your route.

Free, and easy access. Although entrance isn't completely obvious off the main road as there's a side road next to it.

Did a section of the SDW and when I came back there a leaflet on my window to show that people (I assume police or PCSO) had been round to make sure no valuables were on show. It’s nice to know it’s checked and also on a Sunday! :)

Visit the farm shop on the opposite side of the road next to the sawmill greatest ice cream and produce as well as a campsite
