Spoon Cafe - Henley

Generally busy but not waiting too long and well worth the wait. The hot drinks are exceptional and the food menu has some really good options. The freshness, presentation and sourcing is great and really adds to the taste. Perfect place to stop for bruch.

Cold day, so the huge piping hot Full English was very welcome! Good quality ingredients and a busy setting was just what the Dr ordered. They did not skimp on the bacon nor the mushrooms, great herby sausage and lovely crispy sourdough toast (glad I ordered extra!). Espresso was really tasty, thoroughly enjoyed my impromptu first breakfast here.

The food is very good and the portion is generous. I also like that they have the option for you to build your own plate so that’s a huge bonus for person like me who has food allergies.

Wow, such an amazing sausage roll! The tastiest I’ve had in a long time. Just stopped in for a quick bite, the person behind the counter was slightly frosty but they had packed everything away as they were close to closing so that could be why!

Stopped by this small, yet busy cafe to grab a breakfast. The service was friendly and quick, in spite of them being busy. Food quality was outstanding. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked and presented. The portions were huge. Topped with a great atmosphere, this is definitely a place we'd return to.

We stopped in here yesterday for lunch and it was brilliant. A lovely clean deli cafe with lots of food choices. The food came well-presented and was fabulous. We aren’t from near Henley but we would visit again if we were in the area.

Excellent service, coffee and cake!
Would recommend. They accidentally spilt a little of our latte and insisted on replacing the whole thing- very well trained and efficient staff.

Popped in for a snack 1300hrs earlier today. What a vibrant and atmospheric venue. Nice decor with contemporary colour schemes. The staff were so friendly. Happy smiling faces just the tonic with all the adversity that’s happening around the globe. Lovely home made carrot and leek soup with warm locally made rolls, yummy. Great value for money. Great independent eatery. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience.D&M

We stopped for a coffee and cake at Spoon when visiting Henley-on-Thames. It had a great vibe and the service was very friendly and efficient. I throughly enjoyed my Raspberry Oat Bake, and the coffee was delicious too.

It was very busy when we visited, which was a sure sign that this independent coffee shop is very popular with locals and visitors alike.

We stopped in here during our visit as we stumbled across it. It was such a pleasant time! Lovely staff, incredibly tasty food and very dog friendly. Thank you 🤗 will happily visit again!

Jack Potato and full English Breakfast, both deli

We were looking for an all day breakfast early afternoon on Saturday, everywhere was now serving lunch but luckily we asked and were referred to this amazing cafe, super staff and the full English was certainly the best I've every had. Highly recommend.

Really yummy and cute cafe in Henley. It was a bit busy when we went at 12:30pm on a Thursday but managed to get probably the last free table as we were walking in. You order at the counter and the portions sizes are quite large, especially considering the quantity of avo and salmon. The coffees were also really nice (we had matcha and chai lattes) but not made very sweet - you can of course add your own sugar. Staff were really friendly and didn’t mind that we played cards for a while after we finished eating (it was less busy by then so there were other free tables!)

Such a joy! First- don't muddle it up with the 'other' "'spoons" - the kids got confused.
The atmosphere is buzzy, welcoming and friendly. The coffee is smooth and strong
The food is wholesome and fulfilling. I love it here!
Plus dogs are welcome! If I could give it 6 stars I would.
A real gem

Today we stopped off at Spoon cafe for some brunch, the food was genuinely wonderful, every mouthful was delicious!!! Highly recommend a visit!!

We have been visiting Spoons since they opened. We have never had a bad meal there. The staff are so welcoming. Steve and Sandra are the best of hosts. Well done and keep going
