The Strawberry Grove Café

We found this place by chance on our way to Bicester Village - not far off the highway. Restaurant is run by two lovely ladies (mother and daughter) wo provided a absolutely lovely service.

We went for the home made scones which were great and - the highlight of the day - the absolutely amazing salt beef bagel (in our case the Polski with sauerkraut and pickles). Absolutely delicious and super portion size and value for money.

Very much recommended and will definitely visit again!

We have been meaning to try this cafe for a long time, mainly because of the A board outside advertising salt beef.
We were not disappointed as the salt beef bagel was great, as I remarked on leaving, the best we've had outside of London!
Price is on the high side but if the quality is good its better to pay a little more than to wast your money on rubbish.
Be aware that parking is a little difficult so try parking a little distance away and walking - its worth it.

Stopped here for lunch at the end of a cycle ride. Had the salt beef bagel - very good and good size portion also had a slice of coffee cake that was very good - moist. Would return..

I stumbled upon Strawberry Grove, whilst on the hunt for coffee. I'm so happy I found this lovely cafe, with beautiful decor and the perfect cappuccino. I wasn't planning on eating but the menu was too tempting and I got a delicious cheese and ham toastie with homemade tomato chutney. It's shelves are stocked with wholesome looking foods to buy too. The lady serving was really friendly and the atmosphere great.

I have been to the Lane End cafe several times now and every time I am so impressed with the quality of food and service. Such friendly staff and the food is so tasty with fab little twists on classics. The salt beef bagels are to die for !!! Today I had the homemade chicken and veg soup and that was really fantastic too - a great place !!

A brilliant Café in the heart of Lane End Village. Always brilliant food, using the best quality produce from local farms and suppliers.

Highly Recommend! Staff here are local and friendly, and work hard everyday to keep this gem of a place going!

Came into this beautiful little cafe in Lane End today, had some home made cake and wow best cake I've eaten in a very long time. The service from Shannon & Jo was exceptional. Well done Lane End Strawberry Grove

Yes, this is the sort of place you MAKE the trip to as they say.

Pricy? To be honest, £14 for a bagel and coffee is a bit on the more upmarket side, but what you get is incomparable to most other venues. The beef flakes apart; it's a beautiful tender flesh that just oozes juice when you bite into it and there is so much of it! The bread is beautiful, the cheese is fantastic and it's worth every penny, lovely niche cafe which is a new favorite for me.

The staff are attentive and polite and the coffee is very smooth as well. I'd bring a date here for lunch and I'm confident she'd be as impressed as I am.

I called in here on Friday after a 40 mile cycle out of London. My wife being Jewish I was intrigued by the sign in the window. Hot salt beef bagels. They were amazing and better than any east London deli. The home baked cake selection was extensive. The interior is snug ,welcoming and more importantly toasty warm. Well priced it was a very pleasant stop off on my way to Henly on Thames.

They hook you up! Great food, super consistent, great coffee and lovely staff! All I would ask is for some more vegan/veg options as means I could take more people here! 10/10
