Elmham House Pilgrim Accommodation

An overnight stay . Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Refectory for breakfast was light and airy clean and modern . Cooked breakfasts served in canteen style and the rest of cereals etc help yourself as were drinks. Very impressive. Overnight room maybe not as modern but clean and tidy no ensuite or TV. But nevertheless a welcome stay.

We went to Walsingham on a pilgrimage from our church St Vincent's, Norden and St Vincent's, Altrincham. We stayed in Elmham House. The rooms were basic but had all you needed and the towels and linen were immaculate. The food, again, was basic but did its job and hit the spot. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. The bar was a good one and wasn't expensive. The added bonus of the church being within the grounds was excellent. We would definitely recommend and we would stay there again.

Absolutely wonderful accommodation for me and My school. Clean rooms, good catering and service! In a beautiful area close to the shrine.

This was a very last minute booking and had no idea what to expect. What an amazing surprise! A wonderful, warm welcome. Clean, comfortable accommodation and all together far nicer than any photo or description could portray. Parking outside is limited, but there are alternatives close by. Stayed for 1 night only whilst riding the Rebellion Way. Really pleased with the setup, the staff were very helpful, happy for the bikes to be stored safely inside. Free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee/herbal tea. Pool table if one fancied a game!. The rooms are not large, esp the twin, but good enough for one night. WHB in each room, shared WC/shower room. It was clean and tidy. The breakfast was plentiful with a lovely and large dining area. Will be back.

I had a small but very comfy bunk room. Food was delicious & plentiful. Met lots of people and made new friends.

I love everything about this quaint, restful, welcoming Pilgrim accommodation in Little Walsingham. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was substantial and delicious, the location is perfect. This place is ideal if you're looking for a restful, insightful time where you can unwind, recharge and be away from the hustle and bustle of the commercial world. If you're a practicing Catholic, I definitely recommend staying here so you can have a meaningful pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham. Elmham House is about a mile away and you can do the Holy Mile and walk towards the Slipper Chapel and the Basilica, or take the longer route using the Pilgrim or Rosary Way. An added bonus staying in Elmham House is the Church of the Annunciation situated right within the vicinity so you can go for mass everyday or have some quiet contemplation and prayer time. Last but not least is it's a stone's throw away from the original Anglican Shrine which is definitely worth visiting too and better understand the story of how the Shrine to Our Lady of Walsingham came to be.

Great place to stay for pilgimage. Situated beside a chapel. You'll feel closer to God and the Virgin Mary.

We had booked at the Bull Inn,to visit Thursford spectacular that evening,Unfortunately our booking had been scammed, there was no room at the inn.The kind landlord found room for us here.The hosts were So welcoming,and lovely.The rooms beautiful clean and tidy.Thankyou and you are highly recommended by us

I cannot fault the place at all.
The staff in reception are friendly and helpful.
The reception is open until 10pm every night.
There is also always someone available at Elmham House 24 hours if you need assistance.
Elmham House has free parking spaces in front of the reception where the red telephone box is.
Parking is on a first come first served basis.
If you cannot get parked at Elmham House there is a car park just up the High Street in Little Walsingham.
It is £5 for 24 hours, £8 for 48 hours and £20 for the week.
The car park is at the Mill in Little Walsingham just off the High Street.
It is a good sized car park with ample car parking spaces.
I really enjoyed my stay at Elmham House Little Walsingham.
The room I had was of top quality.
It was a good sized room with en-suite facilities.
There is free wifi.
You can eat in the dining room at Elmham House.
Breakfast is 8am to 9am.
Lunch is at 1pm.
Evening meal is at 6:30pm.
If you want to eat somewhere else I would recommend the Black Lion Pub in Little Walsingham.
It is right next door to Elmham House.
Elmham House is also extremely convenient for attending Mass.
The Church of the Annuciation Little Walsingham is at Elmham House.
Mass is every day from Monday to Saturday at 9:30am.
Mass on a Sunday is at 10:30am.
Elmham House is also extremely convenient for the Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham.
The Basilica is just down the road from Elmham House Little Walsingham.
In fact you can walk from Elmham House to the Basilica along the Holy Mile.
It takes about 30 to 35 minutes to do the walk from Elmham House via the Holy Mile road to the Basilica.
There are 70 rooms at Elmham House Little Walsingham.
Most, though not all of the rooms at Elmham House, have en-suite facilities.

As I said I cannot fault Elmham House in Little Walsingham at all.
I used it as my base for driving to West Tofts Army Camp for walks around the Stanford Defence Training Estate.
It is an easy journey from Elmham House south through Houghton St Giles and East Barsham and then south past Fakenham then south through Swaffham to Mundford on the A1065.
West Tofts Army Camp is only a few minutes drive from Mundford.
I would recommend a visit to the Pilgrim Bureau Elmham House Little Walsingham.

Elmham House Little Walsingham is ideally located for the Church of the Annuciation Little Walsingham and the Black Lion Pub in Little Walsingham.
All three places are all next door to each other.
To indicate just how near and ideally located is Elmham House for the Church and pub I am eating and drinking at the Black Lion Pub in Little Walsingham at 8pm on Friday 3rd June and Saturday 4th June 2022 as well as attending Mass at the Church of the Annuciation Little Walsingham at 9:30am on Saturday 4th June 2022.
This is after my walks around the Stanford Defence Training Estate on Friday 3rd June and Saturday 4th June 2022.
I would recommend a visit to Elmham House Little Walsingham.
