Beautiful beach. We only had a walk. Parking place is close to it, 20p for 2 hours is not bad. Take care if you want to pay online by phone, mobile net signal is so week.

Beautiful place for a stroll. Lovely clean and quiet beach. The free beach car park was very flooded so we parked on Gamfa Wen Car Park and walked down no floods and only a short walk away. Only £4 for 24 hours. Public toilets next to the shops by the beach with fish and chip shop, ice cream and a bakery. Would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely stunning location for a walk and then a coffee after.

Such a beautiful light house you can walk up to when the tide is out. Beach is amazing and clean. Can get windy so take a wind breaker. Is a few ice-cream shops near buy but I would defiantly recommend eating either before you go or taking a picnic. If you don't have a wind breaker you are able to hide from the wind on the beach in the glassed area.

My family were the lighthouse keepers for several generations and it was beautiful to return and see it still erect. There’s some graffiti on the door but it was recently repainted and looks lovely otherwise.

Amazing hidden gem. Great beach with very few people around, having said that I did go in the week so may be different on weekends. Light house is a nice view while relaxing on the beach. The car parking right next the beach was also only 20p!! Costs more to use the public toilets now a days

If your willing and able to climb the 400+ steps down, lovely views plenty of bird life on the cliff edges and diving into the sea, we did it as the sun was going down, should have waited till sunset, the steps were a good challenge.

Gorgeous beach, car park is only 20p and not busy at all. Lovely hidden gem. Definitely going again.

It was a fun and easy walk following the board path, took maybe 10/15 minutes to get to Talacre Beach with the mud and then a quick walk to the lighthouse. We were there closer to sunset which made for some great views and pictures. The car park we used closed it’s gates at 4:30, so we didn’t stay long but we enjoyed the time there. We decided to cut the walk back short and hiked up and down the dunes(bluffs?). It was a hike up, but it was considerably shorter.

There's something about this lighthouse that just makes a visit to Talacre worthwhile.
Quite easily accessible along Talacre beach and makes a great background for photos - definitely worth visiting.

Very nice place, very fine sand, only good beach. It is good to get there in the morning to find a parking space for the car. Parking is close by and costs £5 all day. recommend

I have been visiting Talacre for over 30 years, I always make sure I go to the Lighthouse to as it is absolutely beautiful!
I visited on a Saturday around 1pm and the gate to drive on to the beach was closed, I parked in The Point (pub) car park which cost £2. You have to go in and pay at the bar.

It's a lighthouse on a beach, it is what it is. Having said that it's very picturesque and clean. There a couple of bins along the beach, so kudos to whoever empties them. The beach is dog friendly.

On our visit there were a couple of people accompanied by their 'furry friends' sharing this wonderful space. The sandy beach spread forever out towards the horizon and the grass topped dunes, swaying in the sea breeze. The tide was creeping in, lapping up around the base of the lighthouse, while a cool crisp bluster met us as we wandered under the glow of the golden orb, a mixed salty musty scent pricked our nostrils. Heaven on earth as Wales was nudging towards the end of the second lockdown, glorious blue sky and the sense of just being free... Certainly blew away a few cobwebs, and highly recommend, when able to do so, everyone should treat themselves to a little piece of this paradise, it certainly ticked many boxes for us!

A beautiful beach both in the day and evening, a great walk for the dog and child and even though it gets busy in summer it’s so vast that there’s always plenty of room. The beach has easy access but perhaps not for buggy’s and wheelchairs although the car park on the beach means you can park very close. The lighthouse is a great beauty dot and it’s a fab walk if you’re feeling up to Prestatyn on the coast. We travel here every year and never get tired of it.

Situated on a beautiful sandy beach. Muddy spots in places but possibly good for your feet. Nice walk to get to it which crosses over beautiful sandy dunes. The sun was shining when we visited so not much shade.

Nice view but need to be careful with water , have some deep water points not visible, in summer water is worm if outside is more than 27 degrees.
