Anchorage Veterinary Practice - Acle

My husband and I were treated with great respect. We had to take our dear little cat PussPuss to the Anchorage vet because she had been missing for 4 days. The out come was not good, but no fault of the vets. They phoned us at home to tell us about all the damage that had been done to her so I had to tell them to put her to sleep. But they did say that we could go back and say our goodbye,s, which we did, they brought her out in a tiny blanket like a little baby and put her in my arms to kiss and cuddle her and talk to her then they injected her ON MY SAY SO and she died in my arms. They seemed as upset as me and my husband. So what else can I say. They were wonderful. Thank you Serena.❤ Maureen and Peter Salter. xxx

Had an emergency and it was all handled very sensitively. No hesitation in helping me. Not got the bill yet but expect it to reflect the professional level of service received. Go, there's real humanity there.

I have 2 dogs both under the care of this practice one of which is constantly needing testing and extra care. The practice and it's staff are second to none. I barely ever have to wait for an appointment more than a day or so, and the treatment is always in the best interest of the dogs and what's financially appropriate, I never feel ripped off. A special mention to Jess the vet nurse who is always friendly, welcoming and professional! Plus she always gives the dogs cuddles, so she's bought their vote! Tim the vet has been dealing with Isla our girl with EPI for some months now, and he is extremely thorough and makes sure we understand all the fine details around results, etc. Me and my family have used around 6 of the local practices in the South Norfolk area over the last 20 odd years of dog ownership, and Acle is by far the best. Staff are so genuine and gentle in how they treat my dogs, I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Well ,so far so good. Just returned after 10 year gap of petlessness. Reception, vets , pleasant, helpful and kind. Felt very relaxed with our hound. Premises clean and well organised, same large car park as before. New owners have perked up the place though we do miss the old vets who have gracefully retired.

Our 2yr old Border Collie had a seizure out of the blue whilst we are on holiday on the Broads. Made time to see our boy and advice etc given about canine epilepsy.. Our grateful thanks to looking after him..

Our first visit here since moving up this way and a very friendly and helpful veterinary service. The healthy pet plan is sensibly priced, unlike some, and overall we were impressed.

Anchorage Vets have been excellent with a complex issue with my dog. They’ve given me comprehensive advice & support. They’ve rung me to give feedback on test results very quickly & have been so helpful in helping with my pet insurance claim. I rarely give feedback online but all the staff have gone above and beyond especially in these challenging times.

I needed to change vets as away from home and as Anchorage had been my Mums vet for many years it seemed logical and local. My beautiful girl was looked after beautifully, I felt the advice and service offered was excellent, especially as they are working within Covid restrictions. Can't fault our contacts, I do feel confident putting my pets wellbeing into their care.

The Anchorage vet hospital, is a lovely clean and tidy place, you can sit and wait in comfort!! The staff are extremely helpful!! The vets themselves are a lovely mix of people, and are very good and kind to your pets!! I have been using this vets since the 1960's so I think that says it all!! But of course it's changed from a family run concern to the place it is today!! They also run a 24/7 emergency service, and not all the Vets around here do that!!! Yes I would recommend this vet practise to anyone !!!! These are my 5 little dogs, very well looked after by the vets at the Anchorage Hospital.

Brilliant excellent service can't say anything negative

They have been absolutely brilliant with my dog who had cancer. 1st with the successful operation to remove the lump and then with palliative treatment 6 months later, to keep her going and comfortable when another lump has grown.

After a phone call to the vet's late Friday afternoon I was asked to go straight away and our dog was seen with hardley any waiting.

Had to have one of our pets put to sleep there recently. Unlike some vets you can be with your pet until the very end. The staff are sympathetic and you get a sympathy card by post before they send the bill out. They also run the Gorleston practice.

Fantastic vets they looked after my parents as well as the family per Harry the King Charles cavalier. He was having fits, but late one Saturday they opened up the surgery for us and stayed with my parents calming them down and assuring them every step of the way

A good veterinary clinic. Professional staff work here. They operate my dogs ear 👂 done a good job happy with there service. Staff is friendly. Lots of free parking available. Extremely recommended.👍

Great vets, very friendly and helpful staff. Very good since they started the all day appointment system.. Believe they also now do a Saturday morning clinic. Lots of free off road parking as well..

We have used anchorage for some years and have always found excellent care for our dogs and ourselves. They have adapted Thier working practices to the present situation without lessening the care quality
