They should charge an entry fee for this place, refunded when you purchase something. Which shouldn't be too difficult. You are bound to find something. This is a multi-level labrynth with everything from tiny springs to children's toys and all manner of tools and household items. Little nooks and crannies abound with draws labelled with the most obscure items.

Possibly the greatest store in the world? Amazing rabbit warren of everything you've ever needed. Friendly staff, charming and useful things. A destination of classic retail goods. Somewhere to spend hours! A charming village too.

They seem to sell everything! You can buy a single nut and bolt through to a quad bike! The staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s pretty much my one stop shopping place.

Established as an ironmonhers in 1892, Bunners feels as much like a museum as it is a working hardware shop. The store itself, a labyrinth of packed rooms, is full of character as well as stock from floor to ceiling.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to find what you're after (which they more than likely will).
The store carries hardware products, as well as gardening supplies, woodburning stoves, quadbikes, kitchen equipment, and toys.
As far as I am aware, it is still family run.

A great old style hardware shop, if you need it they've likely got it. Staff are helpful and prices are competitive. You can buy anything from a ride-on mower to a single nut and bolt.

Great place with a lot of small useful things. A bit expensive to be fair like for some mug £20.

This was my first experience of this treasure trove. Loved it so much I went back the next day. If you are going give yourself plenty of time as there is so much to see. Great will go more often when in the area.

Found this shop extremely useful when holidaying in the area. Has every thing you could possibly need, and more, quite reasonably priced as well.. The place is more tempting than Aldi, you go in to buy an essential and come back with some fabulous baking stuff..

Like going back in time. This is a fantastic family run business, they always go out of there way to help you. What a place to go. I think it's a place to get everything you would need for any job.

An absolutely wonderful shop. Traditional ironmongers but with a whole lot more too. I could lose hours here! Each time I have been, I have found at least 4 variations of what I was looking for to choose from. Fantastic. Authentic and extremely well stocked.

Brilliant traditional hardware shop plus lots more - huge selection of home and kitchen ware, 'proper' toys, gardening supplies and garden furniture,  plus log burners, lawnmowers, etc. Very easy to spend a lot of time here. Still family owned and operated, also lovely to see these days.

An experience to be enjoyed. Visiting Bunners is like going back in time to when the ironmongers sold pretty much all you needed. I loved this place and the vibe of Montgomery in general. How many places can you buy everything from a wood burning stove to a gallon of petrol. Long may they continue.

An Aladins cave of hardware products, old school and fantastic!

It could be the 1930s when you wander around this classic store in the idyllic wee town of Montgomery. A trusted family business with old world charm and brilliant service in a wonderful setting. A rambling Alladin's cave of ironmongery, hardware, paints, tools, gardening goods and machinery, wood burners, gifts, kitchenware... you name it. I've always found the engineering bits and bolts I'm looking for in this lovely old store.How the world should be!

Incredible shop, well worth the visit to Monty!

Sells the most unusual hardware, fixings of every size and shape. Like a living museum. Do visit! And very reasonable prices too.

Fantastic Aladdin's cave, first visited before covid existed, even better than my memories. Weather also held, Montgomery looked very Christmassy with lovely displays, stalls, market and great cafe/restaurant/shop in centre - Hot Spiced Apple 🍎 and Lemon Drizzle Cake 🎂 went down a treat.
Best surprise, as hit empty, was petrol ⛽ also available at Bunners.
Will return and explore Montgomery Castle in the spring, and Bunners as unable to not visit!

Brilliant place to goto just for a look around.
This is the Hard ware shop that time passed by. There are things here that have been on the shelves for years, as people don't use them anymore.
Then there are the things you never knew you wanted or needed and don't know what you will do with them once you have bought them, you,LL fine them all at Numbers.

Probably the best DIY shop in the World. I challenge you to find anything they don't have. They'll even fill up your car with petrol!

Brilliant old fashioned ironmonger's shop. Stocks everything you might ever need from plants, cycles, pottery, toys and much, much more. Several floors and little rooms that go on and on.
