Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great communication.
Fixed a major issue with my vehicle which potentially would have been no option but to write it off otherwise.
Main agent couldn't/wouldn't fix the problem. Tried another independent garage who unfortunately couldn't fix the issue. The independent garage actually recommended CG Cars and I'm so glad they did. Highly recommended this garage, excellent work, very thorough and reasonable prices.
Hopefully won't need to use them again but if I do have a problem then won't hesitate to call them.

Nothing but praise for this garage. I brought my previous van there for an MOT and Carl was really upfront with all the (serious!) faults that my previous mechanic didn't mention at all. This saved me a lot of money in the long run. I recently brought my new van there for a minor repair and it was done promptly. Carl kept me in the loop about the progress too. Would highly recommend!

This place is a specialist in sorting out French cars. My Citroen C4 Grand Picasso had a problem with the AdBlue and it kept giving engine failure messages and unable to start after 700 miles time bomb messages.
They were able to see me today (I was in touch 2 days ago) and they had the part in stock has it happens enough times to warrant keeping a part in stock so that the customer doesn't have to wait for it.
They were able to resolve it on the day.

I had a challenging experience when my car broke down on Friday, and the breakdown service wouldn’t pick up my daughter and me, due to no warning lights on the car!! Thankfully, Carl from CG Cars came to our rescue. He not only collected and repaired my vehicle but also had it fixed by Monday at 2 PM. Highly recommended for reliable and efficient service!

Highly recommended first class service, rang carl about my vw Tiguan when the engine had gone after the cam belt had slipped.
He come and pick it up and strip it down to found the problem and then rebuilt it in no time and we had our car back he did an amazing job. Will be using him again.

I took my Vivaro van conversion to Cg cars as it was having fueling issues , not starting , cutting out ,and not running well at all , I tried to fix it myself using all the forums for advice. In the end I left it to the professionals at Cg cars , I don’t know what wizardry they pulled but it’s running like a dream now , better than ever in fact ,and I’m now in Cornwall enjoying my holiday. A really really fair price and great service. Cg cars are your local automotive wizards 🧙‍♀😀

What amazingly good service , looked at first thing, complex clutch replacement in a semi automatic Peugeot 208 all done and dusted by 3 pm. Wow…. And the car drives better than it’s ever done. Good price, friendly people clean and tidy workshop, just thanks again.

Took my 205 GTI to Carl and the guys needing some exhaust work initially. Carl offered advice on which part to use and sorted the repairs out, and the final bill was a lot lower than expected! I will be back with the car for the other bits I will need doing

The best and honest garage in town!
When everyone else was telling me that to leave my car to scrap or asking me a lots of money to change the all gear box to my Citroen C4 Picasso,CG Carrs fixed it and the bill wasn’t a fortune,now my car is running perfectly fine.I highly recommend them!

The best garage ive ever used, they did a fantastic job at repairing my car. Carl is very professional and clear, you can definetly trust that they will do a good job at an honest price, they repaired my starter motor and ignition barrel, they got the the job done really quick and saved me a lot of time and money. I was quoted twice the price at another garage for the same work. Wish I'd found them years ago.thanks C G cars! I highly recommend them!

After two garages had misdiagnosed and not fixed a misfire issue on my RCZ , I was recommended to try CG cars as they are specialised in Peugeot
They had the issue fixed within a few days great communication and service letting me know when they ordered parts and what work was needed, l cannot recommend them any higher top class mechanics , many thanks

My wife's Peugeot 208 suffered damage to its cambelt and we needed it changing as soon as possible, C&G cars came and collected it and did a great job in replacing it and getting the car back on the road

Booked my Citroen DS3 Dsport in with CG Cars following multiple engine management lights on the dash, coupled by complete loss of power and the engine fan running for 5-10 minutes after engine shut down.

Bit of background to the situation: Three weeks ago the problems started so I booked it into a garage and they changed the spark plugs. Car worked fine for 10 days before, lo and behold, the same issue occurred.

After reading the reviews online for Carl and his team at CG cars I decided to go with them.
Carl squeezed me in within two days notice and I dropped it off at 8am in the morning.
The car was ready before 11am.

Carl said it was the coil packs and these were replaced at a reasonable price. He was very knowledgable and talked me through what the problem was and you could tell that he is very passionate about what he does.

I’m naturally a little bit apprehensive RE the problem having been solved seeing as the last garage told me it was fixed and then 10 days later the car was back into a garage. HOWEVER, early signs are good and I’m feeling positive.
- I feel as though the car has increased performance.
- It’s no longer rough idling.

Carl and his team have earned themselves a customer for life 👌🏼
