Absolutely amazing staff! I can't thank you enough for what you did to help our senior cat Poppy to recover from a broken leg and seizures. You all go above and beyond. A special thanks to Nikki - the most enthusiastic veterinary nurse and physiotherapist, and of course Rob the highly skilled vet who performed magic with her operation. You folks are first class!

My puppy broke his leg and i can honestly say the service, knowledge, and empathy is outstanding! I’m sure I’ve tested their patience, but you would not know it. The surgeon even came to my car and made sure my puppy cage was padded so my pup had the best journey home. But seriously, every encounter with every member of the team is exemplary. They clearly lover animals. xx

Thank you so much to the team who looked after our lovely little Bellatrix. We are so sad to have lost her but the staff kept us informed all the way and kept her comfortable until it was time to let her go. We got to say goodbye in the most beautiful way and in our own time ❤ special thank you to the lovely Daisy who made the process so much easier by being so kind. Thank you ❤

Have had two dealings recently with Valley Vets hospital and have been really pleased with the care that has been given to our dogs on both occasions.

The first was non-emergent, dealing with a dog's existing heart murmur. Greg was fantastic with Chili, identifying both that her medication needed correcting and how before we'd even handed her over for the tests that confirmed it.The difference in her from then to now is unbelievable - she's like a different dog! She sleeps through the night, she wants to play and she's eating better. Nothing short of incredible!

Amigo spent a few nights as an in-patient recently as an emergency case, rushed in with depleted oxygen levels due to an acute case of pneumonia. The front of house staff were very good with us and Helen and her team of nurses looked after Amigo like he was their own. We were kept well informed, they've taken care of the insurance paperwork and did not put him through any unnecessary stress by over testing. For a 14 year old to bounce back the way he has over the space of a week is testament to the care he received. Thank you all for looking after them.

Can't recommend this veterinary practise enough. Amazing staff, clean modern premises and they actually care about your pet. Took my dog here with a Pyometra infection in the early hour as my normal vets Abbey don't do 24 hour emergency. They looked after my dog, gave her antibiotics and arranged the operation for me and all I had to pay was my insurance excess, £150 and they done rest, my dog is now recovering nicely. If like me you don't have thousands of pounds lying around these guys can be lifesavers for you like they were for me just make sure you got insurance. 10 out 10 for Valley vets.

I cannot thank all the team enough, mostly thank you so much too Nia and Becky for their kind, compassionate and informative updates on Alfie. He is not out of the woods completely yet, but I knew he was in safe hands with the team. They explained everything so professionally, but with such compassion. Can’t thank you all enough ❤
Alfie said thank you so much too ❤
We will email you all an update on him asap ❤

Vet Nia offered words of comfort, advice and support during the weekend our beloved Twinkle took a turn for the worst. From the first moment I spoke with Nia she was able to talk in a way I have never experienced before. Not only did she show complete understanding to our situation her empathy was genuine and her concern for our pet was real. She gave me hope in the moments when things improved and she was able to help me come to painful decisions by being truthful, compassionate and ultimately putting the needs of our pet first. Twinkle passed minutes before we arrived and Nia again was able to talk to us in a way I will never forget and wish I was able to do for others in distress. She is a genuinely compassionate and empathetic person with the ability to say the right words at the right time and i couldnt have wished for a better Vet to care for my rabbit. The world needs more Nias. Rest in peace Twinkle, we love you xxx

I cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care and support we received from Valley Veterinary Hospital during a recent emergency with our dog. From the moment we stepped through the door during the out-of-hours service, the team took our situation seriously and did everything within their power to help.
The vets and nurses were always transparent and took the time to explain the situation thoroughly, they kept us informed with daily updates and encouraged us to call in frequently to check on her wellbeing. We were comforted by how much they loved and cared for our dog who they had only just met. Our dog is fussy about who she likes and she definitely loved everyone there. We didn't catch everyone's names and this goes to all of the staff, but special thanks to Anna, Emily, Laura, Stanza and Tom.
They undoubtedly saved our dogs life and we are eternally grateful, we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of exceptional veterinary care.

We wanted to say thank you to the vet and the clinic for the kindness and compassion they showed for our dog being euthanised out of hours. It’s a really hard situation for any dog owner but they were very understanding and took us to a nice room, laid a bed out for him, gave us some space and were really gentle and personable with a dog they’d never met. The vet treated him like it was their own pet. The vet was really kind to our dog and to us and we really appreciate the way they made a difficult experience more bearable. Would definitely recommend as an out of hours service where your usual vet is unavailable. Thank you.

I cannot thank this vet enough for the care they gave to my parents dog last week. Sadly we had to make the difficult decision to put him to sleep and the amount of care and companion the whole team gave us was fantastic. It was the middle of the night, we were very upset and stressed, but the team talked us through the process with great empathy and compassion. From the receptionist, nurses and Vet Rory the team here are fantastic and we could not have asked for a nicer team to care for our family dog and ease him to sleep. Thank you!

We brought our ferret Mika here and its the best vet we have been to ever. They clipped her nails and the prices are very good compared to other vets. Friendly atmosphere and a really nice seating area. Thankyou and we will definitely come back to you again!

They took amazing care of my dog in ICU, were kind and compassionate and got him well enough to come home. They have been great since with my worried phone calls when my regular vet is closed and give honest feedback. The hospital itself is incredible, the reception staff and clinical staff all seem to genuinely care. Thank you everyone your kindness, it will not be forgotten.

Thank you so much to all the staff at Valley Veterinary Hospital for helping our border collie Jess last Friday. Jess was incredibly poorly and had been diagnosed with IMHA at our usual practice and we had to bring her to the hospital. The vet who admitted her was amazing and explained everything really well and what our options were. Jess had a blood transfusion, they assured us a nurse would be with her during the transfusion to monitor her. She responded well to the transfusion and we were able to bring her home the following day with medication to help stop her immune system attacking her red blood cells. The vet who helped us when we picked her up and the staff on the front desk were so lovely. Jess has improved so much over the last week. Thank you so much for saving Jess’ life, she is doing really well. Thank you so, so much. You are all angels xxx

I had to take my little girl to them, she had an enlarged heart and her lungs were full. The treatment she had was amazing and I was kept in touch all the time. Very reassuring when I was so worried. Until the end I felt daisy was treated very compassionately and so were we.

I just want to thank everyone at this vet practice for their kindness and professionalism. We were on holiday in the area when our cat suddenly passed away, we rang this vet and showed up 10 minutes later. They checked over the cat right away and let us go into a private room to say our goodbyes. I really appreciate the paw prints they gave us and they were really professional when telling us our options for our cat’s cremation. I didn’t get any names as we were in total shock but everyone from the receptionist to the vets were so lovely and kind. I’m so grateful to them for helping us in our difficult time.

Such amazing bunch of staff, felt really looked after and kept us at ease and well informed, we found the Vet Daisy extremely funny and had us in stitches (not literally) after a very stressful day worried about our Fur Baby we came away with a smile. Daisy is also a miracle worker, as we came in with a lame whippet and walked out like nothing happened.. plus thank you for your expertise you made such a difference.
Thank you ☺
