B&Q Stroud

Went to buy a new cordless strimmer. Very good selection at all price ranges. Seemed reasonably priced and well stocked. I have shipped here before and sure I will in the future.

Gosh I hate these sort of places --- I always come away with the wrong thing and seem to pay the earth for nothing very much. But I recently had OUTSTANDING SERVICE there from "Gail" who works in the Kitchen and Bathroom section. I needed to order a new kitchen and muddle headed as always but armed with a bit of a list she sat down with me at a moments notice and went through the whole lot --- ordering as we went, everything including the kitchen sink. It took her over an hour but she was incredibly patient and very helpful. She saved me 10 per cent on my budget and ensured that I did not order more than I needed but had it all covered. No-one has every been that helpful in such a store before, at least to me, and I was incredibly grateful. She is an absolute star! (and no, she is not known to me!)

Visited the Stroud B&Q today to make a purchase in the Bathrooms area. We were immediately greeted by Holly and asked if we needed assistance. Lovely, friendly lady, supremely efficient. Holly is a real credit to the store. She deserves promotion and a pay rise.

Bought a kitchen from B&Q Stroud.
The staff are amazing.. always make time no matter how busy they may be.. incredibly knowledgeable, and with the inevitable hiccups (mostly due to supply and demand) resolved quickly and efficiently. Many thanks to Harry, Gail and Sarah for your help and patience.. we would 100% recommend.

Sunday 21st May I ordered emulsion and paint brushes click and collect. Had a email within half an hour confirming I could collect my order. In store a man called Andrew dealt with my order. He made it so simple to collect my order and was polite and friendly.Thank you for the outstanding customer service. Andrew is a real asset to your business.

After care service from Jackie at stroud store was amazing she went above and beyond to sort an issue and kept in contact to let us know what was happening. Jackie was friendly and efficient and obviously cared about customer service. Always cheerful. Thanks Jackie we appreciate what you have done.

Have never had a bad customer service experience at this store. The paint mixing department is always exceptionally helpful. Always been served by young people who are knowledgeable and polite. Today was no different, 2 young people working autonomously under a manager - they were understanding, helpful, professional and extremely efficient.

We came to get something to help unblock our drain. We stayed because we had so much fun looking through the kitchen and bathroom section and designing our fantasy B&Q house in our minds eye. We had such a crazy fun time doing so, we almost forgot the plunger.

Wonderful! Very helpful and friendly staff. I drove from Wiltshire to collect an item that was out of stock locally. Well worth the trip - and the Mega-Bites catering van in the car park serves some of the best food ever!

Click & collect items available within an hour, all items on trolley, less than five minutes from start to finish, very good service.

I only visited for a tin of paint really. There were quite a few people there, but I walked straight in, there were signs for wearing masks and social distancing and cordoned off walk ways everywhere. I knew where I was going having checked on the website before hand. All the aisles and everything are all signed well. I had to queue for a minute but they had enough tills open to keep things moving swiftly. A really pleasant and easy experience.

Excellent customer service from Adam, who helped with sourcing an urgently needed component for a plumbing fix.

We had excellent service today from Miranda and Steve who really went the extra mile to help us with our purchase 🙂

Well one of those places huge and helpful staff found some ground spikes needed to make hole in wire fence

My husband visited the Stroud store yesterday and was very impressed on how the store is managing and ensuring customers maintain social distancing, and he felt the trolley and one way system was a great way to protect customers and staff in these difficult and unprecedented times. Well done to all staff involved in coming up with the processes in place, and to those working hard in store and behind the scenes.....stay safe.

I found the store to be clean & well stocked. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. They had some items on sale.
