Tasty House

I’ve been buying from tasty house intermittently over more than 11 years - always getting the same dish: Singapore fried rice. It’s one of the best takeaway Chinese restaurants that I’ve ever been too. Their food is consistently tasty and well portioned. Would happily travel across the other side of the river where I live to buy tasty house.
I’m looking forward to them opening their east London branch one day 👀

Hi to all, This Chinese takeaway has been in Denmark Hill, Camberwell for decades. I've used its service once or twice in the past & the food was hit & miss at best, but its always had the potential to be " A cut above the rest". Finally i can honestly say that Tasty House has achieved this feat. The majority of the dishes are "Full of Flavour", meat is tender & texture is consistent and worthy of the best Chinese takeaway in the vicinity. Its run by a few women with "Military Precision". (cash only). There's a trade off because the food is so good. "I am recommending this place too all & everyone". Its an impressive takeaway based on the multitude of dishes and the eating experience.. Try This place out 9/10.

Great value for price! You get a large portion and service is warm. Just don't forget to bring cash!

I was well impressed with this place.
The staff here are so friendly it was so refreshing. I found the lady behind the counter to be quite charming.
Food is delicious! I was recommended by all the nurses at kings college hospital that this is the place to order from if you want a chinese.
Needless to say I was not disappointed!☺

Take £5.50 out of your pension and spend it on the Sambal Fried Rice here immediately. You’ll thank me for it.

They don't call this the best Chinese restaurant in South East London for nothing. Perfectly cooked order to go, very tasty and at a great price point for the large quantity you get. Thumbs up!

Been eating her for many year and the food has always been consistent.

House prep chow mein is awesome. Fried fried is authentic and the chicken curry and rice in one tub is excellent

The food is so so tasty. Never had chinese as good as theirs. They allow you to determine the spice level of your meal and give you extra spice if you want. I especially adored their special fried rice meat consisting of immaculate rice intermingling with delicious meats. Every meal is served in aluminium plates which allow the food to maintain the heat for a long time. It was especially delicious.
Unfortunately, they do not accept cards so you have to come prepared with cash. It's also not a restaurant so you can't eat there and have to wait a bit to be served. It is often better to book on the phone and wait to be told your meal is ready.
Nevertheless, the food is worth all inconveniences and the staff are nice so it deserves 5 stars.

Sunday: 5:00 pm-11:30 pm
Monday to Thursday: 11:30 am-2:00 pm, and 5:00 pm-11:30 pm
Friday and Saturday: 11:30 am-2:00 pm, and 5:00 pm-Midnight

Great food you don't have to wait too long and everyone loves to order from here so get your order in they do have delivery I believe it's cash only.

There Salt and pepper ribs are just perfect so full of Flavour and the staff are really on the ball

Meat is cooked deliciously in this place. I advise everyone to try it.

The best Chinese takeaway in all of south London in my opinion. Tasty food, great special fried rice and the best chilli oil. Luckily they sell the chilli oil in containers separately too!

Have been going there for many years. The food is quality, the service is brilliant, the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Worth traveling over to taste and enjoy the variety they offer. My personal favourite.

Shame about the current restrictions which means that she can't take dine in which is affecting the business.

Honestly I don’t understand why this place gets such bad reviews. The menu choices are excellent, it’s unbelievably cheap for the portion size you get and it’s extremely delicious. Staff can be curt but that can be expected because they’re always busy taking orders. I always come back for their fried rice, it’s the best in London I’ve tasted so far

Tasty House doesn't get enough credit for theur service and quality of food!!

And I also have to give them credit for always offering chilli oil with every order for free no matter how big or small your prefer is as other places tend to charge £1-£1.50 for the chilli oil.

They are always polite and you REALLY get great value for your money as they use fresh premium ingredients and from what I buy there their portions are not just fair but their portions are massive!!

They use proper cuts/ chunks of meat, unlike other places where it looks like they use scraps of meat. They give you prawns...actual prawns and not shrimp-
In case those who don't know the different shrimp is smaller and much cheaper.
Every time I get food from here it's same high standards/ quality I recieve.

THIS IS SERIOUSLY one of the places where you get quality as well as quantity!!! You can tell they value repeat business and they are not just in it for the profit but genuinely value their customers.
Each time I order food like rice or noodles. The box is usually pushed down to be closes as it is as packed as it possibly could be. And it isn't just full of noodles. It has a decent size of meat and veg in it every time.

Cheap and tasty food, what more can you ask for? The staff are quick and efficient, all the better for a takeaway shop. The food is Chinese and there's a huge variety (but mostly familiar stuff if you've had Chinese before). No deliveries, but they do take phone orders and it's generally best to call in on the weekends

They are on point and the best. What do you expect when a foodshop like this is so good, of course it will be so busy and therefore it is expected of every customer to exercise patience. Their food is on point and sweetly tasty indeed
