YHA Snowdon Llanberis

Not a hotel by any means but helpful staff, tidy and spacious rooms, with the availability of a much needed unlimited breakfast in the morning.
Location is second to none, in a very rural setting just across from the main Llanberis path up snowdon.

Staff super lovely and gave tips on walking routes. Llanberis path is close and there is a small high street with everything you need. The view from the hostel is amazing and I’ve never experienced quiet quite like it.

Warm welcoming staff and clean rooms! Great place and some good walks nearby.

A great welcome at the end of a busy day. Stayed in one of the pods, which was perfect for me.

The location loses a couple of stars due to the farming detritus in the adjacent fields. I don't object to the farming, nor do I expect the fields to be pristine, but like most factory floors, it isn't the prettiest. I'd still rather the farmer was there and supported than not.

Always try and stay at a Y.H.A as they are good value for money.
Booked a personal room and got a huge room with 3 bunks.
Nice and clean.
Chap at reception made checking in easy and explained everything,
Will be coming back with family next time.
Good clean accomodation.

Very friendly and clean! The rooms are small but great for a budget travel and great location

It gets 5 stars, not because it's luxury, but because it does what it's supposed to really well. It's clean, basic yet very welcoming. Especially after a long hard slog up & down Snowdon.
Bed's are comfy, the showers work & you can have a meal there if you want. However it's only a short (but a little steep on the way back) walk to the high street.
Breakfast does the trick in the morning.
Also a surprisingly good range of drinks on offer.
Essentially it's a welcome & welcoming place to stay.

For a Youth Hostel is was fantastic.
Clean nice staff, Breakfast and a very clean self catering kitchen to use even had cafetiere to use. Could not fault it great snowdonia

Had a fantastic stay at this hostel. Staff is super freindly. Each bed in dorm has a separate charging point which comes in so handy when you are travelling. They do food, however options are limited. Accomodation cost is quite inexpensive compared to the quality of service. Has got a dry-room(heated room). Is around 10-15mins walk from main road(bus stop) on an inclined road. Seems to be famous amongst the hiking and climbing community, which is always good when you are backpacking as you get to meet like-minded people. They have ample space for car parking.

We spent a lovely weekend here recently, really clean and spacious with very comfy bunks, although the mugs were just slightly smaller than you'd like.

I went to this hostel by mistake. But was allowed to rest up & take refreshments before moving on.

Great hostel which is clean and well-run. I was specially-impressed with the USB charging sockets next to each bed. My bed was comfy and the food was tasty & good value.

I stayed for three days mid week so there were not many people around, no trouble parking and had the dorm to myself. The rooms and facilities were ideal, just as you'd expect for a decent hostel and the breakfast was good, even if the very similar coffee and hot water canisters were switched one morning so in my sleepy haze ended up pouring coffee onto my teabag (this is my fault they were labelled!). Having a decent drying room was also very helpful for hiking in snow in February! Definitely would recomend this hostel for anyone wanting to do some hiking on snowdon or around the area.

Had a fantastic experience staying here. As you'd expect with a YHA the dorm was clean, bedding fresh and shower/ toilet areas clean and clear of rubbish. The kitchen facilities were good invludinv microwaves, ovens, fridges etc. The dorms contained 2 accessible power sockets (both near the door) but there were plenty spare in the kitchen. The staff were friendly and suggested a few local places we could go out for food. The pick of the bunch was the Gwesty Gallt Y Glyn for pizza and a pint. Would certainly recommend this accomodation to friends

This was one of the best things I have done in my life, climbing Snowdon for Macmillan. I did an overnight trek and it was called moonlight trek as it was a full moon night. It was partly cloudy at first but as be began accent it got soo beautiful. I still have those memories fresh. Wish I could do that once again. 😍

Stayed in the pod for two nights. Very clean, great facilities and good location from the town/Snowdon. Would definitely recommend!

Great basic hostel in llanberis, with lounge laundry drying room ,self catering kitchen and cafe and bar. Rooms are good value and the location of the hostel has good views of surrounding area.

Really clean, both the bedrooms and the facilities. Friend staff and the breakfast is good quality. Word stay here again with out a shadow of a doubt

clean , warm , comfy beddings , nice peoples , excellent location, breakfast value for money and very tasty , place not overcrowded . please note this isn't luxury accomodation but mountain home to sleep in clean , decent , quiet and warm room on bunkbed . DO NOT expect anything else .
