Snowdon Trading Post

Always been putting it off walking up Snowdon......if it wasn't for Fran at trading post I would never of completed my personal challenge....she has alot of good information....friendly...a nice little shop for sovereigns as you come down greeted by staff smiling and eager to hear how you get on....Will return again...:-)

On Tuesday we missed the last #sherparwyddfa having taken a different route down the mountain due to adverse weather so were stranded in Llanberis, 5+ miles from our car. Explaining this to Fran from @snowdon_trading_post_16, instead of giving me a taxi number, she kindly drove us to Nant Peris. Her kindness to strangers after what had been an incredible but long and exhausting day for us was overwhelming and made me cry.
Fran is an angel...I'll never forget you! 😇 xx

Small shop with souvenirs, hats, gloves, ice cream and cooled drinks. Very friendly lady behind the counter.

Popped in recently whilst in the area and had a lovely chat with the staff. Very friendly and welcoming.

We walked past and saw a ice lolly freezer so I thought I would get the kids an ice lolly each. Ordered 5 ice lolly’s and it came to over £17. That’s over £3.40 each which is criminal for an ice lolly. I had already asked the kids if they wanted one so couldn’t not buy them one. You would expect that kind of price for homemade Italian ice cream but not a standard ice lolly. Not sure how this shop can justify ripping customers off like that.
