Rebecca was the first and only person we spoke to regarding our wedding flowers, after the first meeting we knew Rebecca would be just perfect! Rebecca is passionate, professional and super helpful. We loved the fact that we could have an all british grown wedding and also the care taken to be as sustainable as possible, love that 25 trees have been planted in our names, how amazing is that!
Rebecca not only provided the most beautiful flowers but lent us items for the table centre pieces and even helped to bring our beach theme / spring flowers idea to life so perfectly. The flowers smelt amazing and I received so many wonderful comments from guests.

Where do I start?? Simply put, Rebecca created the wedding flowers of my dreams! Even though she makes it look so effortless, I know that there is so much that goes on behind the scenes and can’t thank her enough for all of the work that she did for our October wedding.

She is so kind - and when you get caught up in the craziness of wedding planning, it’s so refreshing to open an email where you can just feel the kindness shining through. She shared in our excitement and her genuineness is so endearing.

During our first call she carefully listened and offered thoughtful suggestions - and we very much appreciated all of her insight and floral knowledge about what would be in season and which flowers would work the best for the pieces that we wanted.

I smiled ear to ear when I read through our flower proposal because it painted an in depth picture of what each detail would look like - she knew exactly what we wanted and was able to piece everything together even though the ideas we provided her with were incredibly scattered and all over the place! Every last element of our day was touched upon - the effort that goes into the proposal was very apparent and her ability to transform our vision into a mood board that so perfectly captured everything we wanted was magical.

You can truly tell that Rebecca loves what she does - I didn’t realise just how much trust you have to put into your vendors during wedding planning…and I trusted Rebecca’s guidance and vision so much and she more than delivered absolute perfection. Flowers were such a huge part of the vibe of our day - and we love that her gorgeous creations will live forever in our wedding photos. I was overjoyed that we could also hire taper and votive candle holders and candles from Rebecca - the candles matched our colours perfectly, and the tables looked so impeccable…all thanks to her creative touch!

The cherry on top of everything is that Rebecca gifts her couples 25 trees in their names - ours are in a newly planted forest in Tanzania! It’s such a testament to her commitment to being eco-conscious and we love that such a thoughtful gesture capped off an amazing experience with her!

We count ourselves truly lucky to call Rebecca our wedding florist and cannot thank her enough for the jewel toned brilliance that she handcrafted - we 100% recommend her…and her talent and passion!

Rebecca was amazing from start to finish. From our initial email all the way through to our wedding day, Rebecca was so lovely and enthusiastic and was very knowledgable and passionate about her work. We booked her around 2 years before our wedding so our ideas had changed a bit since the initial design consultation and she was completely committed to delivering what we wanted. She sent a super clear and beautifully presented design proposal after the original meeting and an updated one after our plans had changed and this made it clear to us she had really understood what we were hoping for. She set up all the flowers on the day so beautifully and brought up our bouquets and I was blown away. The flowers were so delicate, smelt amazing and were absolutely perfect. We can’t thank Rebecca enough for everything in the lead up to the wedding and on the day and also really appreciate her commitment to sustainability, sourcing as much as she could locally.

Rebecca created the most stunning florals for our wedding day. We first spoke way back in last year and I knew immediately Rebecca was the florist I wanted to help me bring my vision to life.

She put care and precision into every element of the process from her proposal, putting the flowers together and even through to delivering them. Her passion for her work shines through in every aspect of her designs. Rebecca listened to exactly what we wanted, used her expertise to advise and supported us with decision making along the way.

She also decorated our cake which was also so amazing and we had so many compliments all day on the colours, flowers and how well everything ties together. We feel very blessed to have had Rebecca help us with our special day. Could not recommend more!

Rebecca did an absolutely incredible job of transforming our marquee into the most gorgeous wedding venue full of the most wonderful flower displays.

The best decision we made was to have Rebecca to create our vision for our flowers for our wedding day!

From our initial conversation it felt like we’d known each other for years, despite having never met. Even from our first meeting we spoke for hours about flowers and what we wished to create for our day. Given we had postponed multiple times due to Covid we had to change our florist & I truly believe this was meant to be & destiny as it led us to Lilac & Lace & as such we got everything we wanted and more.

The way Rebecca was able to understand my description of “messy countryside hedgerow with a riot of wafty cottage colour” as my vision, and knew instantly Rebecca understood the assignment and was able to get a clear grasp of what we wanted to create.

Despite having a confident and clear vision and plan for our flowers a week before our wedding Rebecca suggested we step things up and bring plants into our decor so we could use them in our garden at home after our wedding day and therefore be more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Something which is incredibly important to me and to her! It was perfect!!! Rebecca’s way of the working was about partnership and ensuring everything was sourced locally as well and making sure as little as possible would be wasted or negatively impact the environment.

The colour scheme she created was just exceptional and I was so excited to know all our flowers would be great on the day.

The morning of our wedding the flowers arrived and they were everything and more as to what I wanted them to be! The mix of colours and flora was as though I’d walked down a country lane and scooped everything up from the wild… they were perfect!!!! The naturally hand dyed bamboo silk to tie the bouquet was the most beautiful shade and worked so well with the entire scheme.

The button holes were gorgeous as were all the flowers in the church. It was everything and more that I had poorly tried to convey to Rebecca, but she had already somehow figured out vision my head and put it into action. Everything screamed me & I had so many family & guests who reiterated this continually throughout the day too!

After the church service Rebecca transferred all the flowers to our reception venue and again created an English country garden/ woodland landscape in front of our top table - which was more than I could have ever imagined could have been created. It was sublime! Rebecca is an utter genius and I cannot thank her enough.

The nods to my grandmother in using sweet peas was something that meant the world to me and my family. It honestly made both my husband & my day that the flowers were so incredible! We encouraged our guests to take home the flowers from the tables as they were all in individual vases and this was so effective and simple.

Whilst the flowers looked simply put together the work that went into these displays were exceptional. To make that appearance is incredibly difficult.
Having taken them down post wedding you could see the hard work that went into every creation.

I am still in shock that Rebecca was not only able to confidently understand what I wanted to create and the. executed it so it felt like a Chelsea Flower show exhibit!

We can not believe how lucky we are to have had Rebecca be part of our day, to create things that have meant so much and just when we thought we couldn’t make things any better she then pulls the genius idea about he living plants for us to continue this beautiful display to grow in our garden for years to come.

We truly believe we hit the jackpot in not only finding Rebecca but having her create such stunning flowers for our day.
The fact that she also donates trees for sustainability and our carbon footprint as a gift to us post wedding was just an astonishing and amazing touch.

Rebecca was amazing!! She was easy, accommodating, understanding and patient with all our date changes. Our flowers were stunning and everyone told us how amazing it all looked. Our Arch was beautiful and mobile so we could move it for photos after our ceremony. She was a gem and we would recommend her to anyone! We are sad our journey with her is over!

Absolutely blown away with the floristry for our wedding, Rebecca is so knowledgeable about her profession and her passion really shows.

I have never been much of a flower person and my knowledge on all things floristry is pretty much non-existent but Rebecca genuinely had me excited by the time we had finished the planning and discussions. I wanted muted tones and more foliage than flowers and with just a few ideas given by me, Rebecca was able to create stunning arrangements even better than imagined, including the decorations for the ceremony hall too.

It was a massive weight lifted to know that we could also hire decorative items such as vases, candles, crates, etc. and our ceremony really did look stunning because of this, so thank you Rebecca!

From start to finish I could not fault the service received. I can't say anything else other than do not hesitate to book Lilac & Lace for your wedding, you will not be disappointed.

What can I say, Rebecca really is exceptional. She went absolutely above and beyond for our wedding day, all the little touches really do add up to make you feel special and I love that the business is eco friendly. Beforehand she actively listened to us and our ideas and made great suggestions, rather than trying to pigeon hole us into one box as we had with other florists, and then created a lovely mood board and detailed design proposal which really helped us visualise it. Throughout the postponements and changes in venue policies where our ideas had to change she was super responsive and helpful. I was then absolutely blown away with what she created on the day, it was beyond what we could have imagined, she is so talented and creative. The colours and flower quality were amazing, all the wildlife loved it (we had lots of butterflies visiting!) and everyone commented on the flowers and took so many pictures with the moon arch. The venue staff even said it was their favourite wedding decoration they had ever seen, and they've seen a lot so that shows the quality! I can't thank her enough for all the hard work and effort she put in, it really paid off and the flowers were one of my favourite parts of the day. Rebecca has been an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. We found Rebecca when we changed our wedding due to COVID after moving our entire day to a different area. As soon as we made contact with Rebecca we knew we had found the right florist! She listened to absolutely everything, noting our likes and dislikes and spent a lot of time with us chatting through our options, always getting in touch with any ideas and sharing her perspective. When our big day was postponed, Rebecca was more than accommodating, and made some great suggestions for alternative flowers for those that were now out of season. Rebecca’s design proposal documents were so helpful in visualising what our flowers would be like, but nothing could prepare us for the reality. We were totally and utterly absolutely blown away by Rebecca’s work. Each and every piece was perfect - she is an exceptionally talented lady! We did not meet her in person until the day before our wedding and she was just as enthusiastic and friendly as we expected. I contacted Rebecca after another florist let us down and she was so friendly, professional and enthusiastic, I immediately felt she would do a great job.

She seemed genuinely excited to provide us with our wedding flowers and foliage and clearly takes real pride in her work.

Rebecca took on board everything we asked for and went out of her way to ensure we could have what we wanted within our budget. She was very transparent with costs and loaned us lots of items, such as candle holders, to really lift the venue. We had so many compliments on the table decor, which looked fantastic after Rebecca had put in place foliage table runners, candles and flowers.

We also had a foliage ceiling hoop, which was a real centre piece, as well as bouquets and buttonholes. These were all beautiful.

Rebecca was fantastic with her communication and very organised, which is rare amongst a lot of the wedding suppliers I dealt with. She is also a lovely, kind person and a pleasure to deal with.

Rebecca's talent is real! She made a most beautiful bouquet and flowers for my wedding that I loved and was so happy with!!! Those flowers were gorgeous. I got compliments on them and one person even said "your flowers are going to steal the show!" She did a great job of using her skill to create beauty while being so very attentive to my desires and she exceeded my expectations. She really took the time to talk and communicate with me and was very kind and genuinely happy for me. I can tell she really has a passion for what she does and that she enjoyed creating my flowers and did her very best - which was superb! I would definitely recommend her.
