Loved this store and petrol station. It was quite close to where we were staying and had great essentials e.g. eggs, milk bread, cereal and less essentials local beer, treats, cards and gifts. The gentleman on the till was very friendly and welcoming and the fuel was priced very well especially for a more rural area.

Great local service. Very well stocked shop, full of local produce as well as the usual petrol station stuff. Friendly and welcoming staff happy to speak in Welsh or English. In these weird COVID times it is reassuring to see very clear guidelines implemented and staff will go out of their way to provide a service to people who can't (or sadly won't) wear a mask. All power to them in these challenging times. I'll visit as frequently as I can. 👍👍

This business is an absolute gem. The staff are friendly and helpful and will always do their best to serve their customers and the local community. During the last year they have been meticulous to ensure the premises are safe for all. It is the only business that I have felt comfortable visiting during the pandemic as they are so careful and caring. We are extremely fortunate to have this business in our area.

Called in on a trip to Wales on business.

Staff were very friendly as well as extremely Covid secure (we called in the middle of the first lockdown).
I genuinely cannot understand the negative comments as it seemed a pretty simple case of go to the window for service or wear a mask. If you choose to do neither then I can imagine you are looking for problems.

Been here many times and it's an excellent well run business 👏 can't believe the abuse they have been getting from a few individuals that were not allowed to go in to use toilets that have been shut since start of pandemic, even though there are public toilets half mile down the road, obviously these false reviews were not from local people or who follow them on social media as they would know how much work they have done not only since the pandemic but for years, that's what we do around here, look after each other and not come down and think you can boss your way around and when you don't get your own way leave fake reviews on Google.

Family run businesses are meant to go above and beyond. Staff were super rude and wouldn't let my daughter use the facilities. Definitely need education on what is is to be exempt, but also that although Covid rules are in place, it doesn't mean you forget about how to be human and show compassion to others. We're in this together, not just for ourselves.

My wife is exempt and I waited outside and watched; I think a basic hello or good afternoon would help 👍

Should rename the business to "Karen's petrol station " would have been better suited to working in a prion of war camp , discriminating against mask excemption wearers and sprouting their nonsense on safety. Dreadful place .

Staff need education on people who are exempt, was treated really badly at this place, was refused entry to the shop as I wasnt wearing a mask, attached is a screenshot of official governmental policy, to the lady who made the remark that she has ashtma and still wears a mask, people do not need to disclose their condition to you, this place is very lucky that I didnt start recording or file a civil claim for discrimination, I suggest you read the official government guidance instead of your old backward prejudice.
