Sutton Central Library

The staff are brilliant, knowledgeable & helpful. I was struggling to use the scanner at the library and the staff help me scan 24 docs in less than a minute, I also emailed them asking them guidance on downloading e-books and receive a prompt response. Quite impressive!!!!

Sutton Library has been my refuge for many years.
I attended College in there too, but I go very often to the Library, to take books out, to read newspapers, to have light lunch at their Cafe (very good food and Good price)., have a drink, but specially just to chill out, to organize my mind and the time for rush about on the streets.

It's so welcoming that I have seen ppl sleeping on their chairs without been bothered at all.

We recently had reason to visit Sutton Central Library and were “bowled over” by the positive, happy and friendly reception which greeted us from the staff member Arimintia Oliver.

What a wonderful breath of fresh air she was, and she completely brightened up an otherwise dull, rainy day. Arimintia is a great credit to your library and we would ask that you give her our thanks for her assistance and excellent attitude.

We can think of many people who would benefit from a sprinkling of Arimintia’s magic happy dust…

I went today to use their computers. I had to obtain a library card but this was free and you need to take some identification; this was simple and straightforward. The staff were amazing and very helpful. It took about 5 minutes and I had my card. The library looks great after their refurb. There were a number of computers that could be used and it was amazingly fast. Thank you and I would recommend registering.

I like the way staffs treat us. I enjoy using study spaces in upstairs frequently.

First Class Coders delivered creative computing coding classes for children at age 4+ years at Sutton Central Library.

Our fun classes & sessions stimulated social and cognitive skills in addition to tapping into skills such as maths, sciences art and technology.

We look forward to returning to Sutton Central library to #PlayCodeGrow again.

Very good service. I used the Black and white print from mobile service, 10p per page. Requires a debit/debit card. But the instructions are low down on a table and small, so be prepared to pop a disc reading them. (:

This is the central library for the Sutton area and offers a range of services including a children's library and a separate teen library with some good graphic novels.

Plenty of publicly available computers and a cafe too

Arimintia Oliver greeted us with such kindness, she is lovely I am an A-level student studying here at Sutton. I would totally recommend!

Free super fast wife, excellent and courteous personnel, clean facilities, separate huge spaces for quiet study and play, love it! Thank you Sutton!

Very spacious library with access to Sutton high street just 5 mins walk away. A small coffee shop is available within the library itself although its not as good as Starbucks/Costa..and some study tables downstairs although I'd recommend upstairs for those who want to do some serious studying as downstairs tends to get noisy. There is desk space upstairs, although only 20 or so spaces where you can charge your laptop. Sutton central is one of the only libraries that lets you charge your laptop!

This is not just the library it is also the main head quarters for the London Brought Of Sutton as well as it's all under one roof as for the library this is a farst library there is places to study places to sit and read in comtable chairs,computers are available as well as a music library also there is lifts to all floors so being disabled is not a problem if unfortunate to be so.

My visit to the civic office today was great from i enter the building the receptionist a great smile of welcome and directed us to the person we come to see and again a wonderful welcome and conducted our business with lots of support from her that make everything went smoothly she's a star ( JEAN )...😁

I love Sutton library.Staff are a lovley team and are always helpful and welcoming.A good book selection and activities run by library staff.Sutton library is an assest to the community.

Its the biggest and best library in this area.. you must visit this place to enhance your knowledge
