B&Q Peckham

When I usually come to this store, the customer service disgust me but this time around was totally different. I was worried as I attended cause I needed laminate flooring but I had my buggy so I wasn’t sure of what to do cause I was pushing my buggy aswell. When I arrived in the laminate flooring section. Luckily a worker named Wonda approached me and asked me if I needed any help, he took his time to provide me with enough information about the flooring… he even helped me take the laminate flooring to my car. I’m really grateful for his great support and I hope they upgrade him to a managing position cause other than that I don’t know what the managers are doing there apart from allowing atrocious customer service from their colleagues.

I visited the store today, having previously experienced very bad customer service, but I was lucky to run into a few lovely and helpful people. I want to thank Charmaine and Ray, who made this experience a lot more pleasant 🙏. God bless you guys.

My partner purchased a SoBuy FWT07-W Folding Wall-Mounted Drop Leaf Table Desk with Storage Shelves. Flat pack item, easy to construct although a few holes were misaligned. Longer, thicker screws (5mm × 50mm) are required for more secure fixing as the ones supplied are inadequate for certain surfaces. Sits nicely in its allocated place. Very pleased with purchase and overall appearance and usage. Great space saver!

Debs provided me a great customer service and her knowledge in the garden section was great

Excellent site to buy materials for the home. You will find all kinds of lighting items. Excellent prices of floors and paintings.

Staff are amazing if they had good day,sometimes you get not so nice people who ruin the day,but at the end im there to shop and make my home more homely. Timber saw was broken for few days and i kept going without any outcome. So this nice guy he gave me some extra offcuts for my project-so nice of him. Thank you.

The Asian young man wirhe the ponytail. He looked better than l am describing 🤣👍who cut the wood at the store on Friday. 25.8.23 was very helpful. I'll be going there again.

Good place to wander around to discover things you don’t realise you need. And good priced houseplants!

This place was great, it had everything we needed. I did check the things I needed were in stock on line before I went. The staff were lovely and helpful too!

They have a big range of beautiful flowers. I bought them.
Husband bought isolation for roof.

I had a really good experience today despite the low staff numbers.
Hammad ? (not the correct name sorry I couldn’t remember it! ) In the wood cutting area - was the only member of staff on hand to help with my enquiry, lift the planks onto my trolley and also help another couple with their requests.
He multi tasked well. Was professional, enthusiastic and provided a level of customer service that was above and beyond.
I went to customer service to try & get more help in that area but no one turned up. The pressure on staff in the shop is very unfair in a physical environment - management need to recruit more staff to be on hand.

I absolutely LOVE this store. It always has everything you want or need. The prices are quite moderate and good for everyone ( even on benefits, single parents and low income people). They also have home deliveries! Also when paying for your bits - B&Q has self service for people with only little bits of items and cashiers on till service so they help with large items etc. Goòd service, helpful staff and customer satisfaction.

Rather helpful staff. The tills can be a bit slow, but that's to be expected during busy hours. Regardless, great choices for DIY, home & garden and decoration needs. They stock Christmas related items early as well which is super handy for early bird decorators.

Great stock and staff were very helpful, helped me out when I couldn’t find some items and helped me to scan my shopping through the checkout when I had too much to carry.

I was there today, I went to buy soil and spray for the bugs in my plants. I looked for a shop assistant to help me. She was very nice and explained to me how to take care of my plants and bugs. I was very grateful to her for her help. I was very well assisted by the assistant. I just don't remember her name. But she was very nice to me. Thanks for the help.

Went in for my click & collect order and sadly my initial greeting wasn't good as there was nobody the desk, then when the young guy came he was more concerned with answering the phone before acknowledging me and one other. Then a man walked passed and instantly saw i needed assistance, greeted me well, listened and acted, i was very happy!!! Then he called another member of staff over to help me and this guy had great customer service! As i had to return some items "16mm trunking" i then was served buy a lady who was extremely helpful and offered to help find alternative products. I then returned later for another order and once again i was served by a nice lady. Many thanks to DAVE, FREDDY, CHARLOTTE and lastly CHIDINMA

Great, Excellent place to buy many types of materials and items for household use.

Really friendly and helpful staff throughout my shopping, especially Augusta as she was a delight, had amazing customer service, smiling throughout the transaction which had made my day.

That being said service at the tills was very good. Found what I wanted after asking where I could find it. Over all a good day. Nothing was too much trouble.

They’ve really turned this B&Q around. It was once a complete mess but today I was so impressed by super helpful staff and all round excellent customer service. Well done staff and thanks.

5 stars especially for Osiris (sp?) from your wood cutting desk who was extremely patient, helpful and thorough when we visited on Sunday.

We've been trying to get wood cut for a few weeks now as all desks at other local B&Q's either never had stock or said they couldn't help (or the staff who were trained to cut wood hadn't turned up for work in the case of the Croydon branch!) so we ventured into the ULEZ zone in the hope that we'd have better luck this time and thankfully Osiris was on hand to help!
