It's difficult to speak with a representative of Crown Agents Bank. Emails are unanswered. Can't speak with a manager. Not happy.

Horrible way of working - this review is reflect of how poorly these people treat candidates and they way unprofessionalism is way of life right at the top management at Crown Agents bank.

I was excited about the prospect of working for the company, one of the recruiter agencies approached me for a job opening which turned out to be a profound disappointment.

While the initial phone conversation and first-stage interview were positive, the second stage was a masterclass in unprofessionalism. The Head of Production Service who took the interview (later i was advised he is habitual offender) didn't even bother to show up on time, leaving me feeling disrespected after my extensive preparation. (after a while I had to reach out to HR who went chasing him), When he finally arrived after severe delay, he was shockingly unprepared. He hadn't coordinated with the first interviewer or bothered to check feedback, hadn't looked at my CV, and clearly had no grasp of the role he was interviewing for. The resulting questions were irrelevant to the job i.e instead of asking about incident and service management he started asking question for the role of software engineer (Shocking) i.e. about servers, network, devops - i cannot stress enough the shock to my system during the interview whilst I tried hard to defend and recover from his whimsical questioning it left me wondering such irresponsible person sitting at head of department position then the future of the company is doom. (No doubt their stock fell by 70% and they have to hire new ceo) in an active interview he even resorted to Googling basic industry terms about ticketing/incident management systems i motioned during the which should have been part of the real interview. Immediately feedback was given and was advised this was a mistake and now original interviewer looking for ways to work around it however as this was the head of production service who made the blunder no remedial action was taken ultimately it costed me a job opportunity and my future with the company, Instead of acknowledging his mistakes, he seemed intent on changing the entire job description to cover was his goof-ups. This was one of the most bizarre and unprofessional experiences I've had in my career. To add insult to injury, I was then left waiting anxiously for feedback well past the agreed-upon deadline, adding unnecessary stress. This experience reflects poorly on your company.

Please understand that candidates invest significant time and emotional energy into the interview process. Showing basic respect for that investment is not just good practice, it's essential.
