Received short mat bowls umpire kit today only to find that the rule book enclosed was the out of date 2014 version. On telephoning I was rudely told by an obnoxious man that they have no up to date versions and have no intention of buying any either. They refused to refund the postage as I offered to send the kit back as to me the kit is not “fit for purpose” with an out of date rule book. Please don’t comment that I should just buy one, they should either sell the kit cheaper minus the book or supply the updated book as this old one is no longer relevant.
