Limes Cafe

What a fantastic brunch cafe! Fresh tasty food all reasonably priced, attentive and friendly service (family run?) and very tastefully decorated and clean. Love the “lime themed” names on their menu! :D

Our favourite spot in Winchmore Hill!
We visit regularly for breakfast and lunch and have never had a bad meal. Everything is homemade, fresh and delicious. Service is fab and all of the staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. I even ordered a work from home lunch the other day and it arrived steaming hot and super quick!
We are always recommending to our friends and family as it’s a true hidden gem!

Love this place for all day breakfast! Tasty and really prompt service. Comfortable atmosphere even when busy.

was lovely i had truffle hash brows which were amazing and poached eggs with avocado on sourdough with bacon ! it was the best eggs with avo that i have had :) thank you

The new evening restaurant at Limes is absolutely wonderful. The greek style food is amazing, the flavours are authentic, the staff are very friendly and the vibe is fun.

We can't speak highly enough of this little gem, soon to be uncovered by all those in North London. ❤

Came here on Saturday for the fry up, came back on Sunday for the pancakes! Limes is my new go-to spot serving delicious meals where you can taste the quality and care. Warm and vibrant atmosphere and the staff are fantastic. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this place, the service is impeccable and Anthony the owner goes above and beyond - having the owner involved in the kitchen and out on the floor is so nice to see. He makes a real effort to connect with his customers, giving the place a really wholesome feel. Food is delicious, specific shout out to the brownies - divine.

I recommend it, excellent service, wonderful food, the coffee is top-notch at every moment. 5 stars.

If I could give this place more stars I would. The food is exceptional. The ambience is amazing and the staff are a dream. They brine and make their salt beef from scratch. All of the cakes on the counter are homemade as well as anything on the menu that can be homemade, is homemade!! They cater for GF, DF, vegan, veggie, halal and more. This blew my mind when I went with the group I did as some of them had dietary requirements and the staff were super attentive when taking orders. You have builders in there, families, diners on their own and people of all ages. If’s rare to see a place like this nowadays that caters to all and it’s so wonderful that there’s such a mix of people. When they’re busy you can expect to wait a little longer for food but in truth, it’s so worth it because they cook everything from scratch and I cannot begin to imagine how intense that may be in a kitchen when you have 50+ orders! In the week I’d say it’s quieter so you do get your food more quickly. Either way, they have clear communication from the beginning and big smiles on their faces. What an exceptional little gem of a cafe Limes is! If you haven’t tried it yet, this is your sign to!!

A delicious local gem. Beautifully decorated, great service and a menu that changes seasonally. They deliver - but in house dining is exceptional. The toast is *chefs kiss* thick sliced white bread and lashings of butter, with on counter home bakes teasing you as you get the bill. Bring the chocolate cake with fresh cream back all year round! 😉 Weekends get busy but it’s worth the wait! :)

First time eating at Limes cafe and it will not be the last, excellent breakfast, good produce and cooked very well, all served with a smile by friendly staff.

Really lovely cafe. Great food and friendly staff. Particularly recommend the milkshakes! You could miss it, as it’s a little out the way from the busier parts of the high street, but definitely worth walking a little further around Green Lanes to get to it!

Excellent food and service. The Loaded Limes breakfast was spot on.

I had the Ruben sandwich which was amazing. The salt beef is made on site. My friend had the loaded burger she said it was delicious, juicy and just enough onions. The chai latte was also perfect.
All the staff are attentive, kind and give advice about food choices. Steph is wonderful, your get service with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble here. The food here is all fresh, this is a lovely local place to eat.

Absolutely amazing place. Best cafe in the area. The food is always SUBLIME and the family that run it go out of their way to be lovely and hospitable. It can get a bit echoey and noisy with the busy road and people when busy, and people with the largest behinds may struggle with the furniture (although perfectly good for the vast majority of people) but honestly that’s just tiny things - this is clearly the best cafe in Enfield! Consistently 👌

Second visit to eat in and arrived at a perfect time to be seated for brunch at 10.30am. My only issue was so many delicious dishes I wanted to try. (Excuse to keep coming back I guess).

The waiting staff tended to us immediately with drinks orders and after a lot of deliberating, my guest and I opted for the American Pancakes, marginally pipped to the post by Eggs Benedict or the Omelette.

Our Brunch arrived as after taking the obligatory 'Gram shot we tucked in.

I ate every morsel apart from the strawberry stalk and don't think I ate much more for the rest of the day. I look forward to sampling a different dish very soon.

Lovely local cafe with a community feel. The portion sizes are excellent for the money and the food is of excellent quality. The menu has lots of variety with plenty of options for veggies/vegans. The service was prompt and the staff very friendly all at great value. This little cafe is a local gem.
