These prices are still in 2008 I love to see it!! Good food, you can only go in there to purchase tho as they don’t deliver. Very filling and tasty, lots of food at a good price. This place is very nostalgic.

This has been the go to takeaway restaurant for my family, friends and I for over 15 years. I do think they have new management/chefs but still a reliable takeaway spot. Sometimes the phone line is always busy so try order in advance.

Decent Chinese take away (cash only, no delivery, but you can make a phone pre order). Sweet and sour chicken is really good, according to my taste.

A firm favourite for many years. I always try stop by when I'm in east London. No 26 with extra sauce is always a good choice, their king prawn fried rice is also amazing, with noticeably fresh ingredients. Fantastic portion sizes.

Edit: 3 years later even with the inevitable increases in price, this place is still The best Chinese Takeaway I've been to. Decade + and still loyal. Wait times for this place say everything, but it's well worth.

Best Chinese takeaway in east London and always worth the wait, because sometimes they do get very busy, so order early to avoid disappointment. Can't wait until you reopen again we've missed you greatly.

Golden food has been my number 1 food takeaway shop for more than 10 years now. I would definitely travel from wherever I am just to eat some of their good food. In particular, their special fried rice!

The best Chinese in London hands down, the only issue is, it’s tooo popular so it’s hard to get through on the phone lines. People cue up outside from 4:30 pm 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Have been using this place for 2 years now and can say it's the best in the area only down side is it opens at 5 and then takes another 45 mins to be ready so I go hungry will highly recommend the house special and the chips
