Central Co-op Food - Whetstone

**Update: New at Co-op: they have a new app which can be used in store: Central Coop Scan and save. Scan items as you shop and pay in app. I have download it and it's working really good. Just register with your phone number and you're good to go. You have to add your card to pay in app or with Google pay. You can also add your membership card. They have great offers and you can earn points.

They also have something outside which I didn't see until now to other retailers: a Launderette which can wash and dry up to 20kg.Looks interesting. You can also find In post box where you can drop or collect your parcels.

They also have new berries by Driscoll's which looks and tastes really good and delicious.

I really like how Coop is improving it's services.**

Almost always find what we need,friendly staff and new self check outs. You can find everyday hot food to go: from bacon baps,sausage baps,to hot dogs and Costa Coffee to go. Everyday freshly made croissants and other patisserie stuff.
New in store: really nice clothing,good quality and textures.
They also have Cooperative Travel with really good offers for holidays. Worth check them out.

The store is in a great location with ample parking. Brightly lit, spacious and well stocked with a variety of everyday products. Very reasonably priced too... Staff are always friendly and helpful.

This COOP is not your typical convenience store but more like a supermarket. There is a large variety of goods which include electrical.

Also there are in store toilets which include a disabled. The mens were very clean which you don't see enough of nowadays.

Parking is excellent with hundreds of spots so no need to worry about parking bumper to bumper, and getting to the store is very easy as it is situated next to major routes.

We visited the Coop, The End of Dog and Gun Lane, Whetstone, this morning. We wanted to buy some flowers for our daughter on her Mother's day. We were served by a gentleman called Phil. He was so nice, asked if they were a gift and offered to remove the price label, which he did with such care, it was so helpful. After we paid he wished us a happy mother's day. He didn't have to do either of these, but it really made our day - in this world of stress and worry, it's just so lovely when you encounter a pleasant word and a friendly smile - thank you Phil!

I've spent most of lockdown using this store. They have always had excellent stock throughout. Good for fresh, organic, vegan, ready meals, cooked foods, seasonal and every day stock. Also electrical goods.
You never have to wait long to be served (which is a pet hate of mine) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The parking is very spacious and plenty of disabled & parent & child spaces. The prices are very competitive and always have good deals on.
They also offer a delivery service but I'm afraid you'll have to ask in store about that one.

I still shop here on a daily basis, they now have self service checkouts which are loads better than the ones in other supermarkets, you never really have to queue for long and they still have lots of staff that are happy to help. I usually find that the man named Paul is always happy to assist, he’s been there for yonks and if I need assistance, I usually ask him if he’s on a shift.

Friendly staff. It's rarely cluttered with shelf stacking baskets and trollies. Not too crowded with shoppers. Aways manage to get a parking space.

Clean and well stocked, helpful, happy and friendly staff! A fabulous supermarket with corner shop friendly service which is unusual in these big supermarkets. Even the younger members of staff went about their jobs purposefully but knew treating the customer came first. A lovely shopping experience, well done.

One of the biggest Co ops I have seen in my area. Loads of checkouts especially one checkout have got good room for the disabled. Loads of ailes, plus one big area which have got all of the house items. The staff are helpful too. I would recommend this shop.

Brilliant store, more expensive than the larger supermarkets but far more convenient.

Spacious car park friendley staff live the vegan food section but it's pricey, fresh baked goods I always go in to get some bread or doughnuts

Keeping the distance was good both outside and inside the store, they hadn't got alot of stock but I managed to get the things I went in for.
