Busy pub with great staff. Staying near by and hadn’t booked but managed to get a table quickly. Had not intention of getting the gammon to be honest but after seeing someone having it my mind was changed. Look at the photo it’s insane!

Booked a table for again tonight and will most likely be getting the gammon again haha.

Very reasonably priced beers also.

I absolutely love this place! Stayed once before and always wanted to go back, and have just been able to do just that.
The rooms are lovely, beds are so comfortable and the bedding was so soft. ( the sheep and cows in the fields just outside are also winner for this animal lover).
The food!!! Where to begin. Mouthwatering just thinking about it. The servings are massive, without a word of a lie, the nicest food I have ever eaten. So much effort and love goes into it.
Staff are all friendly and a great team. I am sad to be going home, but I will be back.

Went to tafarn y rhos for lunch today. All staff were so friendly and service was brilliant. The food was delicious. Big portions so make sure you're hungry! Will definitely be going again. X

Really enjoyed my meal here, lovely food.

Stayed here for about 3 weeks, had 2 different rooms and both were good. The beds are comfortable, rooms kept clean. Room 3 has a nice large walk in shower too.
The food here is superb. Breakfast is help yourself for cereal, toast, drinks and cooked breakfast is available to your order from poached egg on toast to full English.
The bar meals are fantastic, we had several over the weeks and definitely would recommend, although the portions are very big. Sunday roast is fantastic, even the small one is ample. The steak pie is fabulous as is the fish and chips.
The staff are great, and helpful and even if we hadn't booked a table managed to get us in somewhere.
Booking in advance for a table is recommended though, especially if you are not a resident.
Definitely would stay here again.

Food was great tasting, well prepared, well presented and delivered very quickly. Not to mention not pricey, which may have you thinking that it's low quality but that is absolutely not the case.

The place was clean and well maintained and the atmosphere is great.

Prepare for a small carpark as the place gets busy quickly.

Been here 3 times this week on holiday because it's so good. Amazing food and we've tried plenty of different menu items, including delicious puddings. Drinks are nice and staff are very friendly and useful. Warm, friendly, nice atmosphere, and very accessible off of the main road. Highly recommended.

So pleased we decided to call here for Sunday lunch. The food was hot , plentiful and delicious . Also very good value for money . The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the pub had a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back .

Cannot recommend this place enough. We visited this dinnertime and yesterday with our 2 young children, 1 and 3. The meals are delicious, big portions, decent prices. The pub itself is nice and clean, including the toilets. The staff were absolutely fantastic. The lady who served us on both occasions, an absolute gem. The man behind the bar this evening was lovely too, and the floor staff bringing/clearing food etc were all helpful and polite, even going as far as to clean our child's dinner plate we brought with us. Can't wait to return on our next Anglessey holiday. Loved it! Thank you.

I haven't been here for years. It's changed a lot and for the better. It is so cozy, food was very tasty. We had Sunday lunch and soup for starters. The portions were big. I will be coming again.

Came on recommendation from one of the locals. Had the Sunday Lunch and it was massive and gorgeous. Everyone else happy with their meals. Lovely ale to complement the food. Will come again

100% recommend!! We arrived as a party of 5 adults and 7 dogs and were welcomed in with no hesitation. A member of staff came straight over to us with a bowl of water for our dogs. Between us we had lamb shank, chicken burger, fish & chips, scampi, and chicken goujons. No complaints at all about anything! Thank you so much for your hospitality. When we return to Anglesey, we will definitely be back.

A cracking place to visit and stay overnight.
Wonderful lively friday evening with live music.
Super atmosphere with the locals full of vibrancy and fun.
Great menu on offer and proper home cooked food supplied from local producers.
Good selection of drinks on offer to cater for all tastes.
The breakfasts are cooked to order and really tasty.
The rooms are clean and tidy, great showers and lovely views over Anglesey.

Amazing place to go for food the service was superb!! Friendly staff booking is advised! We hadn’t but they couldn’t do enough to fit us in & we was so pleased they did too.

Visited today and staff were welcoming, friendly and proactive. Really kind with our kids and dog too. Food was great (perfect Lamb Shank!) especially for the price vs other local establishments. Hope to come again soon!

Good food, generous portions, and good prices! Genuinely friendly atmosphere and staff. Also dog friendly, which is always a plus.

Had a C9mbo Burger, omg!! How much stuff!! Ch8cken Beef, Bacon, Onion rings, Chios, Salad, Cheese.... my eyes are defo bigger than my belly!!! Was delish, l9vely pub, nice staff, great grub, will be using again.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Freshly cooked vegetables. We go here loads. One of the best on the island. Never fails to disappoint us. Nice friendly staff. Keep up the good work. Worth every penny.
