Belgian Promenade

Stunning walks to view both bridges spanning the Menai Straits between Anglesey and the main land. Areas to sit down and watch the ever changing views, spring tides are interesting when the walk way floods over.

Lovely spot. You have great views of the Menai suspension bridge and the Britannia bridge as well as church island. You can also nip up to waitrose through the forest from here. It's a quick walk into Menai Bridge as well.

My absolute favourite place to walk to. It's only about a 25-minute walk from the University. You get amazing views of 2 different bridges and it's full of wildlife. It's a very calm and peaceful area with very little footfall and hardly any traffic noise. Plenty of benches. If you're into skimming, there's a smaller stream which is perfect for it.

The only downfall is it's not a very long walk - about 15 minutes in total if you walk along the graveyard island too.

Well worth a wonder around here. The awesome bridge, the grave yard (full of stories) and the woods with beautiful trails.
