This is a great local builders merchant with an excellent variety of items at competitive prices. If they haven't got what you need, they can get it for you in a few days, no problem. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help.

Thus is my local and go to builders merchants. The guys are very knowledgeable and always happy to help. If they haven't got what you need, they will always sorce it from another branch.

Before we moved to the area, people said HG were hit and miss with their archive, and pricey. We've found nothing but excellent helpful and courteous staff at Tywyn and Dolgellau, and often cheaper than the bigger businesses I've used down South. Very pleased so far at, and no rain to think other HG branches would be any different!

Staff in Llangefni Branch bent over backwards to find me 6 sleepers for a raised bed (after Gwalchmai reported they only had 3). Llangefni phoned around branches until the found enough for me - delivered the same day! Superb customer service (as usual)

Always helpful and friendly staff. Good supply of wood off the shelf and cut to length. Excellent range of products in the shop.

Good service, excellent range of building products and fairly reasonable prices, I bought gravel from them for my garden.

The lads working on the yard and in the shop know their stuff, and are happy to help with anything you might need from a builders merchant.
