I had an appointment with Annette to get my wedding dress altered but while I was there I explained to her my vision for my dream dress and she managed to fully alter the neckline to turn it into a reality! My dress fitted me perfectly and she managed to take lace from other parts of my dress to do the re-design so you would never know it had been altered. Annette was lovely throughout the whole process and was flexible with appointment times. Thank you for creating my perfect dress!

Annette is an incredibly talented dress designer and seamstress - I worked with her to construct my wedding dress from upcycled vintage gowns and she was so accommodating, she took my vision and elevated it beyond my imagination, adding extra design elements which made the dress so much more beautiful than I expected! The entire experience was so rewarding and special, cannot recommend highly enough!

Wow, I am so pleased I found Annette to alter my wedding dresses (one for the evening reception as well). She turned two second hand dresses from a charity to shop that didn’t quite fit me properly into two gorgeous dresses that looked like they’d been designed specifically for my body. I visited her three times to get them perfect. She is an expert at what she does and I completely trusted her throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend her!

Annette gave me my dream wedding dress! Having bought it off one of Annette's clients on ebay 6 weeks before my wedding day as I was so unhappy with the original one I had bought, Annette showed me the dress and made it fit me perfectly in such a short space of time. She was so calm and lovely to work with, I couldn't have felt more happy and confident in her work. I only wish this was the route I had taken from the beginning. I had an absolute disaster with my wedding dress, just 3 weeks before the big day and was in a complete panic. My dress was far too big and after one round of awful alterations by another seamstress I was feeling hopeless. I found Annette online and read some great reviews, so decided to take one last shot at fixing my dress.

Annette is a real problem solver and came to me with solutions instead of workarounds. She turned my nightmare around and I'm so grateful for her calm reassurance throughout. She worked right up to the wire. I honestly think she uses a magic wand instead of a sewing machine - I have no idea how she did it! Jokes aside, she is so incredibly talented and the quality of the work she did was wonderful.

Would highly recommend Annette. She did the alterations for my wedding dress back in May this year, and made the dress fit perfectly, adding straps when the bodice didn't sit quite right, and a waistband to finish off the look. I was really pleased with the end result. She also altered one of my bridesmaids' dresses at short notice. Annette is friendly and really easy to work with and I will definitely use her again if in need of alterations.

I approached Annette to help with my wedding dress with a very short timeframe. Annette was able to reconstruct a vintage dress according to ideas I had just sketched out on paper, she talked me through each step as we chose and ordered fabrics and trims, she was so reliable in replying to emails and made the whole process calm and enjoyable. I came away with exactly what I wanted and Annette had picked up on details that meant the dress was finished in accordance with her high standards. I will recommend Annette’s again and again.
