Classic Car LEDs Ltd

The guys here have been helping me with an unusual project. My kit car was built in 2001, using parts from a Ford Fiesta XR2i donor car. It has been unused for quite a while so I'm refurbishing it.
I want to put LED lights throughout, including in the instrument panel. This means making some clever modifications and CCL Ltd has been helping me identify the right bulbs and advising me on the electrical changes I need to make.
I now have 95% of the items I need but have yet to try them. The quality of the items is clearly visible and the assistance has been invaluable.

In a nutshell:
I sent an inquiry yesterday (with the wrong information! my bad)
Duncan spotted my mistake and kindly advised me as to which were the correct bulbs and which would be best for my need.
Fastest reply I have ever had.
Bulbs arrived next day and are now fitted. WOW!
Is it an improvement on original filament bulb?
No as the word 'improvement' does not describe THE HUGE increase in brightness!!
If I had to put numbers on it to describe it, I would say the originals= 10% output and Duncans' bulb a 500% !!!!

Ordered yesterday and arrived in beautifully sealed package today.
Fitted to my Hilux after a tiny bit of dremmelling on the inner access to gain extra 1mm.
Fiddly but doable. Differencr=night and day again.

Now done a full LED upgrade on my CB MGB GT and it is a step change in terms of road presence but actually the internal dial lighting is in some ways is more impressive. Had a slight problem with one bulb the the team at ClassicCarsLEDs are extremely responsive, knowledgeable and easy to deal with - thank you…. 👍🏻

Got prompt replies to my many questions and got good advice. The LED headlamps supplied were good quality and were CANBus error free, as promised. The improved lights I have now are amazing!

I have been putting off fitting LED’s to my 68 MGB GT for ages. That was until I seen my mates car and he had fitted new bulbs and headlights from Classic Car LED’s. So I took the plunge and phoned, the guys here were superb they helped me get exactly what I needed. I gave the guys all the info they needed and within 15min I received a call back. So from headlights & lenses to every conceivable bulb required they supplied everything. Prices where a surprise they beat other companies and postage was included though I opted for tracked postage. So well within 24hrs later I had everything need to bring my car bang into the 21st century in the lighting department. A first class 5* service I would not hesitate to recommend them to others in the future.

Superb service and great products.

I recently contacted Classic Car LEDs about the possibility of fitting one of their combined side and indicator LED bulbs into a sidelight housing for a Bedford MW.

They could not have been more helpful, replying quickly to my email with technical drawings, wiring diagrams and even a link to a video showing how to modify the fitting if required (although in the end this was not necessary as it fitted for this application without modification).

They also advised on compatible parts and answered all my follow up questions before having it all in the post to me for the next day. The combined bulbs are brilliant (pun intended – I think my sidelights are now nearly as bright as my period headlights!).

A fantastic product and great technical service that I will be recommending to other owners.

Purchased 4 Led 6000k headlight lamps, 2x H4 and 2x P45t, the ones with the integral heatsink etc., plus 2x Lucas 5 3/4 headlamp shells. The shells needed a bit of fettling to fit properly (very normal for classic car remanufactured stuff) and the actual LEDs fitted perfectly. Beam pattern is very good with a good cut off and no stray light shooting about to annoy folks. Customer care is very good, these folks have been at it long enough to be able to offer advice based on first hand experience!
All for a Rover P6, 1971 model.

I've bought a selection of bulbs from these guys now. Headlights, dual function side/indicator and sides. So impressed with them, they actually light up the road ahead like a moden car compared the oth halogen upgrade I'd already done. Gone for the warm white and it truly still looks standard behind the original lenses. Quality seems to be very good. Only had one issue with a lens being loose and falling out on a dual function. Could have mentioned it and I'm confident it would have been replaced but seems unnecessary. Will definitely be buying more to swap out the rest of the old bulbs.

Edit: having mentioned the minor issue (it really was no issue), they have pulled out my details off their own back and sent me a replacement free of charge. Superb guys and a great company, it just isn't worth scrimping and buying elsewhere. Thanks!

Recently fitted LEDs from Classic Car LEDs to two vintage cars and am delighted. Excellent technical advice, very high quality product, easy installation, very low power consumption and now the ability to drive pre-war cars safely after dark. Highly recommended.

My first order - I wanted the entire interior lights set for my 1976 Triumph Stag and had some questions about the appearance of the two types of white available - Duncan responded very quickly to my questions and included several photographs to help me compare, as well as a description and an opinion, which made it easier to place an order assured that I was making the right choice. The kit was assembled and shipped very quickly with tracked and signed-for delivery. In these days of somewhat indifferent on line commerce and parcels left on doorsteps if no one in this was a refreshing return to the fading days of excellent personal service! It will be a few weeks before I fit the lamps as part of a larger makeover project and will comment then on the performance of the lights, but for great personal service, comprehensive information and fantastic and fast delivery a BIG FIVE STARS! Found this business on my owners club site where they seem to be used a lot. They offer a wide range of products at good prices. I emailed them with details of my car and the lights I wanted to change and they pointed me directly to the right bulbs/kits which made my life much easier. When I had a question about LED indicators, they came straight back with the answers to my problem. I've upgraded the tail/stop lights which can now be seen on my 1964 car. I also changed the indicators buying a kit of relay and bulbs that worked. The only additional item I had to purchase was a suppressed lead from the coil to the distributor that was a very simple plug in fit. The indicators now have a steady flash rate and can be seen which the old ones barely could. Its a great service and I've since recommended them to others in the owner group and have placed a further order for dashboard lights

I fitted a set of orange LED lights with an electric flasher unit to my 1968 Traveller. WOW. What a difference. Thay are much brighter than the old bulbs. Ordered on sunday, they arrived on tuesday. 10 minutes to fit. I should have done this years ago.

Huge range with excellent quality items. Ideal for older vehicles (one of my motorcycles only generates 45w) so a good range of 6v LED bulbs is welcome news. I’ll definitely switch all my bikes over to these types of bulbs, especially as this company has all the bulbs I require.
