Poyntons Butchers

Pensioner with a wheelie frame on a first visit to the Old Colwyn shop today. Lovely lady behind the counter was friendly, helpful & efficient. They have a minimum for delivery which is usual, and I can order online on the days when I am feeling wobbly on the old pins.
Today I bought some lamb cutlets. A little dearer than supermarkets, but then the quality is so much better. So you get what you pay for…and they looked absolutely wonderful. I will update after I have eaten them. :)

Update: thoroughly enjoyed these lamb cutlets. They actually taste like lamb…I have not enjoyed lamb like this in such a long time. Well worth the slightly higher cost. Will pop in for a leg of lamb on Thursday for Easter. 🥰🥰

We had the leg of lamb and the goose for Xmas. They were both absolutely fantastic!!.Both were delivered promptly and on time.

Today, I purchased about 10 lbs of Danish smoked bacon, not only did they butcher it for me exactly, as I wanted, they individually vacuum packed the five joints for me. All of that with a decent quantity discount.
