We visited using our historic houses cards and had a really lovely day. The house and the grounds are stunning. It is clear how much the grounds and house mean to the current owners and how passionate they are by the way they are kept. We were pleasantly surprised at how many rooms we had access to and how well they were presented. Both the owners and the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. All in all a fantastic day.

Visited Deene Hall Park today and was thoroughly delighted. The house is stunning, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. The gardens and surrounding land are impeccably maintained, offering a serene and picturesque environment. It was such a joy to explore the grounds, and the rich history of the place added to the charm. I recommend this gem to everyone; it's a truly wonderful experience that shouldn't be missed.

A gentle drive down to the house, parking up on the grass overlooking the water and hall. A beautiful introduction to a stunning property. It's a short walk to the main entrance, where you enter into the oldest (Tudor) part of the house.

It truly felt like a home, what I really liked was Charlotte, wife of the current owner Robert Brudenell was on hand telling stories of the family moving fire places and the fire place in the great hall which kicked out smoke into the room. It made the house come to life.

A true surprise was the Georgian rooms, the house went on forever!

Luckily the small cafe was open for refreshments and cake.

The gardens were stunning, just enough to walk around.

No photos allowed inside the house... visit you won't be disappointed.

Pleasantly surprised over the number of rooms we had access to. They were
laid out well and the volunteers were very knowledgeable and friendly. Was lovely to meet the current owners too. You could get up close and personal, respecting the surfaces and decor, no photography as this is a home with personal photos dotted about, whilst open to the public. I liked that. Not just a peer into a room through a door. Every room was different and had a different tale to tell.

My friend and I visited Deene Park House and Gardens last weekend. We really loved the history behind the house and the gardens were beautiful! The guides were very informative and we were welcomed with a friendly smile from all the staff we met. My friend and I are planning our next visit! Thank you.

The country Manor is located 5 miles from Corby. Hidden gem! Beautiful home which is still lived in by the Brudenell family since 1514. The house contains old furniture, portraits and uniforms which date back to different centuries showcasing a range of architectural styles. The house as well as the gardens and land are stunning and very well maintained. The volunteers were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We visited on Sunday afternoon and spent over 2 hours there. Highly recommend!

Rarely opened. Well presented and well preserved manor house, more looking like a castle. Interiors are super and worth the time and ticket price.

Deen Park is free for historic house members and because it is still lived in by the family, it is open infrequently , so do check dates on the website before going. Because of it still being lived in , there are no photos allowed inside. The building is part tumor part Georgian and was home to the 7th Earl of cardigan (despite it being near corby) , he was the one who led the ill fated charge of the light brigade. There are displays within the house , that relate to this which are fascinating. The house is wonderful and an eclectic mix or architectural styles. Room guides are knowledgeable and friendly outside, the gardens are a joy to behold. There is a cafe on site , which because I was enjoying the house so much I didn't get time to sample. Overall an excellent place and a must visit if open and if in the area.

We really loved our visit to Deene Park to see the Snowdrops. But there was so much more: the perfect parterre, early hellebores, crocus, the beautiful bare bones of the big old trees in the grounds and of course the architecture of the house itself. The catering in the gravel courtyard was of a very high standard and at a reasonable price.
Thank you for a lovely day out.

Great place to visit, beautiful gardens…a bit different, colourful and full of interest. I loved the house, super furnishings and rooms full of surprises. We got to see so many rooms as well…which is not always the case in many places. Felt very welcome, the family really want you to see and love the place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Definitely a place to visit.

Had such a lovely day. The staff were so lovely and our favourite was the lovely man that told us the story of the horse. He was so lovely and knowledgeable and obviously loved history and this place.

Our first time at Deene Park and we were very impressed. The organisation is good and the guides in each room friendly & knowledgeable. There are so many rooms open to see, unlike many stately houses where only a few are accessible. Each room also has information boards about the Brudenell family through the ages and individual crib sheets on which the guides can elaborate with first hand knowledge of the family who still live here more than 500 years since their antecedents built it in the middle ages. The formal gardens are extensive and we didn't reach the outer grounds. It has a small tea shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Entry to the house is by timed ticket, but once inside you can stay as long as you want - we took 90 minutes but could easily have doubled that, and the grounds are then free to roam. Undoubtedly one of the best stately homes we have visited.

We had our wedding reception at Deene Park in May and what an amazing day it was. The whole experience from start to finish was incredible with Georgina and her team making the journey feel super easy and well taken care of. Georgina’s enthusiasm and ability to put you at ease was really wonderful and we can’t thank her enough for everything she did, nothing was too much trouble and she was more than happy to help with anything we needed. We have some amazing memories and wish we could do it all again. We highly recommend!

My fiancé and I visited Deene Park on a weekend away in the Northamptonshire area. We were not disappointed in any way. Arrived and after checking in we had a picnic before exploring. The gardens are fabulous, the setting with the water framing the property was perfect. We both fully enjoyed our visit inside the house and obtained many many facts from the very friendly and knowledgeable guides, all finished off with a trip to the tearoom and drinks alfresco.
We both had a delightful afternoon with every effort from the staff, was especially grateful for the guidebook given to us as I was told ‘ we feel guilty that you are not yet allowed to visit the upstairs of the property’. Well that’s a good enough excuse to have to re-visit again sometime.
Thanks for a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon.
