Tyn-y-Castell self catering accommodation

Heaven!
We have stayed at Tyn-y on many occasions, in every season of the year. It's a little slice of heaven!
Set in a rural, farming valley just behind Caben Coch Dam, Tyn-y is owned and run by a local farming family, who couldn't be more friendly, welcoming or helpful.
The chalet cottage is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a self-catering holiday (no washing machine but launderette in Rhayader). Lovely log burner keeps the whole place toasty warm in Winter. Beds are super comfy. There is a good, hot shower in the bath. Plenty of fully enclosed parking and dogs are welcome.
Lovely conservatory to sit and watch the birds and wildlife, so many species to see, and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
Perfect place for stargazing as there is absolutely no light pollution here and the area has designated Dark Sky status.
Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep, and a short trip to the Elan Valley Visitors Centre and all that this stunningly place has to offer.
Due to the location there is no mobile phone signal, but there is internet and a landline if you need it.
Definitely recommend, we can't wait to be back here again!
