The Fuel Stop Cafe

Popped in yesterday in for lunch whilst out for a bike ride with some friends. Great place to stop, eat and watch the light planes and helicopters taking off and landing, whilst surrounded by beautiful scenery. Had ham, eggs and chips which was very nice. Highly recommended.

Where to start? The breakfasts are amazing and I would definitely recommend the full English and where better to eat it than parallel to the runway. Amazing service from the staff and if you're lucky you might see the North Wales Air Ambulance! Highly recommended and definitely worth a special pit stop!

Lovely cafe inside and out seating. Clean and very tidy. Lovely freshly cooked food and lots of it. Enjoyed our meal and sitting on their balcony watching the planes. Great place to visit. Cafe closed Monday and Tuesday....pay it a visit...

lovely egg on toast .Very nice people. nice to site outside see the aircraft. I was their for a helicopter lesson which was great.

A definite must for a quick stop off with a difference. It's located behind the air ambulance landing pad you can see the helicopter as you enter the carpark. Their are also other services located within the grounds so there are teaching schools for flying lessons for gliders. It's pretty cool eating a full English and watching the small planes take off and land. You could of course pull into a layby but the food is freshly cooked and it's excellent value with good facilities indoors or outdoors on a decked terrace.

Food is good, well priced. Favourite breakfast spot on weekend.

A busy café where if you're lucky enough to get a table on the terrace you can sit and watch aircraft taking off and landing. Food was lovely and the service fairly prompt, despite being very busy. The café also sells conserves etc.

I'll have to give it a bad review, it's getting over popular!! Enjoy coming here with hubby to watch the aircraft as he can do little else. Great fuel stop, managed to get the last seat last week. Good food. Always enjoyable. Nothing to fault. Even have the odd plant to buy, and cake!!

Fabulous snacks with great people can't recommend highly enough... give it a go, you will not regret it....

Great food with great views if you love lunching with planes

Delightfully eccentric place but with a total lack of artifice and nonsense. The food is great, VERY competitively priced and honest. There's no trendy nonsense going on here. The staff are welcoming, friendly and informative, and the place also sells local herbs and locally sourced food items, and much more. On sunny days you can sit outside and admire the scenery or watch planes arrive and depart. There's lots to see, and the proprietor tells me that people fly in for their breakfasts- one all the way from Scotland! A delightful place worth visiting again- I certainly will! 😀

Way better than fast food places. Check the opening times and go to the Fuel Stop Cafe instead. Friendly service and an interesting place to relax and watch the light aircraft if they're flying around. Great coffee and even better cakes.

There is definately a reason why this cafe is top rated. Simple reason is it is a fab place to go for all, if you enjoy to watch planes and helicopters come in and out, while having a drink and a bite to eat this is the place to do it. Food is gorgeous, the staff are so friendly and helpful, you just never know who you will meet there or what you will even see coming in. You can also have a gander at the mid wales air ambulance as you come in, you never know, they may just get a call while your there.

Truly a lovely place to stop and have a nice breakfast. The lady that runs it couldn't be nicer and the shop has lots of I testing things for sale. Along with the enviable view of the runway from the dining area.
