This is a very cool place to visit. Nice drive in through the Valley and what an impressive piece of engineering from the past. There seemed to be construction going on down the pathway so maybe this will enhance the visitors viewpoints.

Magnificent Victorian engineering. Beautiful landscape. Wonderful wildlife and conservation area. Peaceful, fascinating, a very special place. Last summer the Reservoirs were half full, stony gravel banks exposed during the heatwave and drought. What a difference one winter makes. All 4 Dams overspilling. A glorious sight. Excellent Visitor Centre. Well marked trails and lots of wildlife and historical information throughout the entire reserve.

A nice, remoter dam in the Elan Valley system. Toilet block and on National Cycle Network route 81

Wet and windy but exhilarating. The views are wonderful and the sound of the water emptying over the dam is awesome. Lovely walk not too taxing, well maintained paths and clean facilities.

There's a small free carpark and public toilets available. The carpark is usually full so don't go expecting to always get a space easily. Absolutely amazing views and a great place to go for walks.

What a fabulous and stunning place. Highly worth a visit as the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The history of why it was built is even more fascinating. Make sure you visit the elam Valley visitors centre

Beautiful scenery around elan valley and the dams. Found a nice spot to park up for the night and appreciate the dark skies. Public toilets open 24hrs along with this small but free car park. Many free 24hr parking spots along this lovely route but please respect and leave no trace.👍🏼

Part of the stunning Elan Valley route.....this is a great place to visit, good weather is a must though. This dam is one of four or five on the route, and all are spectacular.

Beautiful weather for a day round the dams is needed to really appreciate the views and landscape at its best. We got there early and practically had the place to ourselves, plenty of cycling routes and walking paths fir the more energetic people. We had the car and went the complete route round the top. Look out for sheep crossing the road and give yourselves a few hours to enjoy it.

This place is absolutely stunning! You can walk around both sides of the dam to enjoy the view. The road to go there is very scenic, and you can easily park.

Stunning place, free parking and we was lucky enough to see it flowing! Quite breath taking! There is also maintained toilets and an information board. I took a walk down the side of the water and found lots of butterflies and waterfall spots. I enjoyed driving over the bridge, definitely recomend it as a stop off.

Went here with my son, we had a great time looking at the shear scale of the dams. Only one was overflowing and its so impressive. We loved it and will be back again.

It's great to see the dam overflowing. It's great to see where Birmingham gets it water from. Lots of little walks round here. There's not much parking up there either.
