Only reason I marked the room down, is the bathroom suite and deco is a bit tired.

Very accommodating!
I organised for 12 of my family to come up from London to surprise my Brother.
We stayed 2 nights and loved it.
Rooms were comfortable, clean and we all slept very well.
The staff were great from booking right through to when we left. Gemma, was a gem and she has a fantastic, friendly team, who looked after us Londoners!
The bar being downstairs suited my lot far too conveniently. We had dinner, drinks, and good fun without having to book taxis to get to our rooms so it was perfect.
Food was tasty and generous portion sizes. They allowed us to pop some decorations up in the restaurant area so it looked great too.
All my family said they would use this place again when visiting.
The location is great and if you book early enough, also good for needing multiple rooms.
Their function room looks very nice. We didn't use it but had a sneek peak at a party set up. It looked fab!
If they did breakfast, it would have been perfect but there are some lovely places just down the road. Woodies was our breakfast destination of choice, but not open on Sundays.

We stayed for 3 nights for easter, it's very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the price is reasonable, the only draw back for me was the noise if you have been travelling a long way and time then the noise from the bar area downstairs is going to be a problem but i think this is just the case at the weekends when it's at its busiest, i personally wouldn't stay again at the weekend but would certainly recommend this place that's why i have given it 5 stars

Staff were extremely helpful in a situation where I'd made a mistake with my booking of a room, Luke took the time to find me another place to stay last minute and after a 4 hour drive I couldn't have been more grateful.

Had my son's 16th birthday meal there. Food was good sizes n was really nice. Nothing was to much for them the staff were great.

Me and my now husband had our wedding reception here Thursday 13th July and cannot begin to tell you all how well it all went we used there DJ and he was fantastic at doing our song requests (although the younger generation wasn't so great picking some songs at some point 🤣🤣🤣) he was amazing for our first dance (we wanted it cut off at a certain point n he made it work )all the staff was lovely Gemma has been completely accommodating throughout our process (I changed my mind on a couple things few times ) was understanding about us having other vendors in for photo booths and games and the food !!!! Wellllll we choose chip shop buffet n my god we definitely made a great choice it was beautiful but such a decent price every body was amazed with how much we paid for the food !!!! Thanks Gemma and all stuff the day was absolutely amazing x

Stayed at Brewers Lodge last night , very happy with the experience the double room and en suite was lovely , modern , clean and plenty of room, the food in the bar was very nice all staff were helpful , polite and pleasant, I would definitely stay here again. I do think to have breakfast on site would have been nice, at an extra charge of course , but not a problem as there were cafes just down the hill, a lovely hotel .

Had a wonderful evening celebrating my daughters baby shower this week at Brewers Lodge. Would like to congratulate the staff and venue for a lovely room setup and layout. So many of the 42 guests have praised the quality & variety of food, as well as the attentive nature of the staff. Everyone left the party happy & satisfied.

I would like to thank the Brewer's lodge for a very pleasant stay last weekend. I had a fantastic Saturday night with them and the best night's sleep I've had in ages. Their rooms are modern and very comfortable and their Sunday carvery is to die for honestly give them a try you really won't regret it.

This is my second stay here and I would come back again. I was here on my own for work and the staff made me feel at home, they were friendly and very helpful.

I had multiple meals here and the food is soooo good and reasonably priced.

The rooms are above a pub, so you have to expect a bit of noise. It didn't bother me as it was quiet by 10:30pm - 11pm. If you have young children I wouldn't recommend staying, but there is a small play park which is good if you're visiting for food.

Very nice room in this budget hotel above a pub. It was a Saturday night so there was some music as expected. We didn't find it to loud and after a few hours travelling and then a visit to the Aberfan memorial, we had dinner in the restaurant. Good pub grub and a couple of beers, I slept like a log.
Would stay again, and recommend it. For the price it is a bargain.

Held my sisters baby shower here today and the food and staff were exceptional! The room looked fantastic, we were blown away. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a venue, really fantastic!

This place is in a stunning location. The food was also great but the highlight was definitely the staff and management they was so friendly and welcoming.

Went here for an 80th birthday party. The buffet was absolutely amazing with a wide variety of upmarket foods - not a chicken drumstick in sight! The staff were all delightful and did everything to make it an enjoyable evening.

Lovely room.Spotlessly clean.Comfy bed.Really friendly,polite and professional staff.Nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent !We had a big family meal in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Had a really nice time at Brewers Lodge today, there was myself, my husband, my son and his wife plus our 3 grandson's. We all had a really nice meal and desert which came just over £82-00 for 7 meals and 5 desert's, personally I thought that was good value for what we had? Friendly staff, good service with a 5 rated hygiene score, we will be going back there soon?
