Absolutely love it here. It has so many beautiful views and products. With facilities such as a cafe, toilets, clothing range, gardening range, arts and crafts, homeware, books, children’s play area, pets care and adoption centre, local produce and farming supplies. If you’re lucky you can go and they’ll have chickens for sale but this is also at certain times. They’re are many buildings on this site and all of them are beautiful. They also have a local beauty salon. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. I used to come here nearly every weekend with my family. Still absolutely love it!! My favourite time to come here is at Christmas, it’s absolutely beautiful and they make such an effort with all the decorations and facilities around them.

I had an incredible experience at Santa's Grotto! The children were absolutely delighted, and Santa himself was brilliant, creating a magical atmosphere. The elves and staff were not only helpful but also made the visit very inclusive for everyone, showcasing a commendable level of disability-friendliness. I highly recommend a visit – it's a festive treat that won't disappoint!

Excellent store - both the garden centre and the agricultural supplies.
Good range of products not available in the town centre. Cafe is good although queues can be long when it’s very busy.
Staff are helpful and friendly with good product knowledge.
Shame it’s not dog friendly or I’d have spent a lot longer there and a lot more money too!

Fabulous store could stay all day if I could afford it. Good cafe too. Usually busy best go early.

Well laid out plenty of parking and absolutely the place to go for those special gifts. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Store was not to busy. Lots of stock, lots of choice, lots of really nice Christmas gift ideas!

Been visiting her on a weekly basis since April it's just got so much in there. I kitted out my new caravan with bedding, bathroom & kitchen items.and this weekend bought garden planters. I buy dog food for my nieces Lab and having just got a puppy the price of the dog cages, beds is very good and a great selection of toys & treats for all animals. It's been very useful for a recent camping trip as I have a Cadac and it stocks items for that brand. The clothing/shoe section is always worth a browse. Basically if you're looking for a present for someone and have no idea what to buy you would definitely find something in Charlie's. Guess where I'll be doing my Christmas Shopping! There is plenty of parking (not a lot in the shade if you've got your pooch in the car), toilets are always clean and regularly attended to. We've tried the cafe a few times and considering it's generally very busy we've not waiting too long for food but be warned if it's a school holiday or weather is bad it can get very busy indeed despite having a lot of tables. The cherry on the cake for me is they stock my favourite gin in the original gin bottles it was batched into, Aber Falls - thanks Charlie's and I always look forward to taking a trip there and never come out empty handed.

We were in Welshpool to visit Powis Castle later in the day and called in at Charlies after a recommendation from the lady where we were staying for the weekend.
Charlies has something for everyone...one of those garden centres that sell everything from compost, plants and all things garden oriented, as you would expect, to chutneys, preserves and the usual gift shop.
They have a restaurant that looked to be very busy so it must be good and a cafe for drinks and sandwiches, that had a live pianist/singer entertaining customers, he was very good.
Everything was well laid out with clear signage to keep a one way system for entry and exit.
Well worth a visit if you live local enough or like us are in the area and have some time to pass.

Excellent except a mug purchased at Christmas was no longer available and I broke the original so gutted..

Very helpful friendly service. Lots of interesting products sold here as well as a good selection of cloths at a reasonable price. Good selection of bird products to keep our feathered friends happy 😊

Lovely place to go for a look around, wonderful staff and the cafe is absolutely amazing, one of the best full English breakfasts in the world!

Nice place to spend some time. Lovely roast beef dinner on Sunday then a little browse around the shop.

Love Charlie's makes a great day out, and you can purchase so many different things, like when I went this last time, plants compost frying pans and some delicious different biscuit thins to name a few things. Plus you can get lovely food in the restaurant, or coffee in plant corner

We enjoy our visits here. A great choice of kitchen/pets and garden gifts. The only only thing that bugs me is the entrance. Not great if you're in a wheelchair or mobility scooter. See my photo. My wife has to duck her head to get beneath the low bar and plastic fingers. Is there another entrance?
