Wow what an amazing place! Found this place by chance whilst visiting the area. So blown away. The amount of fungi and mushroom was amazing and so fun to go hunting for. The more you look, the more you come across. Great for mushroom lovers. Great for any foragers or nature lovers. Just a beautiful scene from every angle. The moss was like a soft green blanket covering everywhere. Great for dog walking. Free parking area.

Nice forest but couldn't park because of foching barstad height barrier. Obviously they tar everybody with the same brush in ashford borough. What a let down.

Really nice place. A lot of good cycling tracks. Let me know if you see a pair of black ray bans wayferer with slim arms. I dropped them in the woods :(

Beautiful place. Lovely woodland to walk around with large car parking area. Well managed woodland with interesting species.
Lovely place to walk the dogs or just a quiet ramble on your own.
Also has its share of 'nightlife ' in the car park in the evenings if you are that way inclined.

Such a lovely walk with the dog and family. Lots of people but so many paths to choose from you can avoid people if you want to. Even with general flooding everywhere the forest was passable.

Beautiful woodland walks away from all of the traffic. Very nice place to go and clear your mind and just simply walk. Well maintained parking area with picnic tables, great day out with the family or just take a walk with your dog.... Wonderful

Cracking forest to have a wander around has Both a main loop track and various paths off into the forest property. Main loop is about 2.7 miles. Can be much more if heading off the beaten track 🙂

Beautiful forest. Only down side is no bin for dog waste so some owners leave it bagged up around the forest. Perfect place for picnics and den building. Kids love it.

Just back from a great morning walk in Orlestone Forest with the dog. We heard what we think was a bird call that was crow-like but much deeper in tone, shorter in length and repetitive (on checking online it sounded very similar to the call of a raven). Would we have ravens here?

Felt like being in the forest on Endor. Star wars fans will know what I mean. My two naughty baby boys were like ewoks setting up traps for the general public. Great day out and free
