Loved our stay at Llangoed, it's like being a house guest at a slightly quirky stately home.
We had an excellent spacious comfortable room and ensuite with a gorgeous view over the gardens and hills
Dinner was delicious all three nights complimented by Jeff's choice of wine, he was one of the nicest staff I have had the pleasure to meet as we're the rest of the staff.
Breakfast is buffet, but was fresh and well stocked
It was a totally enjoyable experience

We had a lovely stay at Llangoed Hall, the room was beautiful, the location is great and the food was fantastic. We had the taster course menu that was made vegetarian for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Took my Mum for afternoon tea, as an early Mothers day treat. We arrived early, but was not a problem, as we were greeted by a lovely young man called Cameron, who took us to our table and advised us that we could order some drinks and have a look around the beautiful house at our leisure whilst waiting.
We were then told that chef had advised our afternoon tea was ready if we would like it early.
Was a beautiful tea room, and the food was amazing, as was the huge real fire that was burning the whole time.
Nothing was too much trouble for Cameron who worked alone the whole time!
As we were about to leave, Cameron offered to give us a little tour and tell us a bit of history about Llangoed Hall, which finished off our afternoon perfectly!
I will definitely be visiting again in the near future, and highly recommend to anyone!

The experience of llangoed hall starts as you drive in off the main road, what a stunning hotel. On entering we were greated by what seemed to be the lady in charge that day. Very warm friendly greeting. We were lead to our table (For afternoon tea) The room was stunning, a massive open plan room with the biggest fire place I've ever seen. We had a beautyful afternoon tea then retired to the games room where we played snooker for an hour. All in all a fantastic experience, excellent service levels and superb afternoon tea.

This place was an absolute joy to stay at. The scenery is just superb and the old building is an absolute delight! The staff here are very friendly and attentive, nothing seems too much trouble. The room and facilities were very clean and smelt really fresh. All kudos to the house keepers here! The chefs also produced some excellent meals and taster options, very creative! We stayed for a few nights here over a recent bank holiday as a birthday present for me and I really felt that I would miss the place when we left, I don't ever remember feeling like that about a hotel stay before. Well done to all the staff here! Would highly recommend!

Llangoed is truly exceptional! We have had a marvellous stay. The staff were incredible. Yes there is a small team but this meant for a very personable service. The room was clean with beautiful views. The pace is much slower which helps guests to unwind. But perhaps not best suited for impatient guests. The food was delectable. I’ve never been to such a lovely smelling hotel! The wine is pricey. The £17 per glass however is for a goldfish bowl 250 ml sized glass. Regrettably the “by the glass” Romanian Pinot Noir and Brouilly cannot be recommended. They went back but with no fuss whatsoever from the team. One area for the sommelier to reconsider. But there are better choices of wine by the bottle. Thanks Llangoed for the perfect recharge and you are quite wonderful Team!

Popped in on the off chance they served food. Closed for repair works but met the staff who were super helpful and provided us with some of the history of Llanoed Hall and allowed us to have a wander around the gardens.
Will make a point of going again and staying once it's back open.
