Nant Ddu Lodge

Booked in for a spa day, 2x treatments, use of the jacuzzi, pool & sauna, followed by lunch in the bistro. Had a lovely relaxing time. Staff were welcoming and friendly, beautiful location and views, facilities were good. Food was delicious and filling, decent portions aswell.
Would highly recommend and will be going again in the future.

Cold and wet outside but a warm welcome inside. Lovely atmosphere, good food including vegetarian choices which were more than the standard veggie lasagne. Mushroom and chestnut filled cannelloni or a roasted beetroot and red onion tart.
Pie of the day seemed home made and was beef, ale and mushroom. Delicious, but extra gravy would have helped.
Excellent desserts, which we really didn't need!

Had an AMAZING overnight Spa experience. So relaxing with pool, sauna and steam room. I gave the gym a miss but I would say it's well equipped. Treatment was relaxing and felt soooo good. Don't dismiss it, try it even if it's not your thing!
Food was out of this world, tasty hot and well presented.
Staff polite and friendly, nothing too much trouble. They knew the dishes and drinks menu well.

Sometimes it's chic shabby and sometimes shabby chic. Nant Ddu Lodge is definitely the latter. Although I gave the room three stars I'd say its nearer to 3.8. The location is excellent, the service was always with a smile. I can highly recommend the neck, back and shoulder massage. A lovely compact pool is never overcrowded. Our evening meals were the highlight of the stay. Simple food cooked really well!

Had a lovely time. The food was great, the staff were friendly, we went for a pamper Day / night. Bit expensive but we'll worth the experience.

Stunning place with fantastic Sunday lunch. Met up with family who were staying at the hotel for the weekend. Sunday lunch was so good we would definitely return

Beautiful location with spa facilities including pool sauna steam room. Rooms warm and clean. Breakfast was good and small bar food was fab.

The food;
Everything on the menu is exactly as described, and honestly, it is some of the best food I've had. The portions are huge (but not excessive), and the taste is out of this world. It's genuinely worth coming here just for the food.

The staff;
Where to start about the staff. They're so friendly and would do anything for you. Every time we're there, we are greeted with a smile, friendly conversation, and a warm welcome. The dinner staff are basically the same, but they're a little bit busy to talk. Anything we want it's instantly at the top of their priorities. I would give them a 200 out of 5 stars if I could.

The rooms;
Spacious and very, very clean. We have only stayed twice, but it's obvious that cleanliness is their top priority. There wasn't a particle of dust anywhere, and everything was spotless. The rooms are lovely and big with a TV and really, really comfortable beds.

The spa;
While I have never had a spa treatment my family has, and they're amazing, according to them. The pool is fantastic, big with a swimming lane, and usually kept to the perfect temperature. The jacuzzi is great and very warm/relaxing. There is a steam room and sauna aswell but I barely use them not because they're bad but because I would rather swim. The gym is fantastic with a ton of equipment, but it can get crowded sometimes.

Overall, it's a great place to stay if you're in the area!

Sure, the facilities are a little older and could use a refurb, so if you want somewhere absolutely pristine this place is prob not for you. BUT we had a great time staying here for 3 days - the staff were all lovely and super helpful, the included breakfast was amazing and they had gluten-free bread, the food in the restaurant was delicious too although I’d agree it’s just a bit pricey, and the spa facilities were great. The heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room all worked and the gym was well equipped and maintained. I think it’s still amazing value for money, would totally recommend

Had a really good lunch today here with a good friend, excellent varied choice and both had the pie if the day beef ale and mushroom , delicious, so also checked out the spa facilities and will join up asap

Such a lovely hotel spa , lovely staff and food to die for . A little dated in bedrooms ,but they are currently making plans to update the bedroom , Could do with a little up date on the jacuzzi to .

Nant Ddu Lodge Thank you so much for having us. It was an amazing experience, The room was extremely clean and there was no issues with it whatsoever. The staff were delightful and really helped us when we requested anything or asked for any information. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room was pleasant, well maintained and very relaxing. the breakfast was delicious cooked to perfection and the bistro well I'd say if your looking for top notch food that will melt in your mouth then I suggest swinging by there as it was amazing and the service was excellent.

My favourite place in Brecon to escape to. Warm and friendly staff, easy parking, great facilities, peace and quiet. I come here to write novels, might have to write the Nant Ddu into one. In the summer the garden is a great place to get a tan with a pint, in the winter you can sit next to a big roaring fire and look out of the window at the snow, all snug and toasty warm. Never change. Perfect.

Staff was very nice and the gym was also good and the food was amazing and not too badly priced as well overall amazing hotel

Having eaten here many times, Nant Ddu Lodge has become one of our favourite places to dine.
Whether it be in the restaurant, bar or lounge area, we have never been disappointed.
The staff are always very pleasant and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble.
Booking is advisable if you want to dine in the restaurant, otherwise, just turn up. Being an early diner will usually guarantee a free table, that is something we have learnt over the years. I'd say around 12/12.30pm for lunch & 6pm for dinner.
The food, without doubt, is amazing! Some may baulk at the prices, but you definitely get what you pay for, and more.
Both day and evening menu's have plenty of variety, with GF, vegan & vegaterian options, so there is definitely something for everyone.
Every meal we have eaten here has been sublime, and if you are a dessert person, the Sticky Toffee Pudding is unsurpassed, and the Trio of Desserts - Oo la la!
So, if you haven't tried Nant Ddu for a meal yet, then get yourself over there, I guarantee you won't regret it.

Grounds were lovely in the evening sun, would have been nice to eat out there but was too chilly today so we went inside.
