B&Q Chester

We have been to B&Q for design consultations for out Kitchen and James from the team has been so helpful, professional and has a real flare for design and has come up with a load of useful advice and suggestions. He’s made it a very good experience, we will be asking him to do the bathrooms and utility room. Amazing 😊

The staff at b&q chester were excellent and went the extra mile for me thank you, Staff couldn't get the plasterboard in my car, so the staff cut the plasterboard so it would fit in my car on a Sunday around 3.50pm finally left the car park at 4.30pm, 30 minutes after closing time, thank you very much

Mo in the wood cutting shop is fantastic - worked out exactly how my big sheet of mdf needed to be cut for wall panels- amazing service

Wow, what a completely different experience!!
I had come to simply “tolerate” B&Q as a way to get the paint I needed for projects. Not anymore! Their product range and availability has improved beyond recognition. Chester is now a place that’s enjoyable to shop, and is great for inspiration for your next project. Better still you can find staff and not only are they happy to help you find what you need, they are knowledgeable and can give you suggestions on the best product to use for a particular job.

I will be shopping here for all future diy projects I cannot recommend them highly enough! X

Lovely place to shop for you DIY. Great variaty and helpfull staff. I was searching for the right solution of fitting flooring on the loft. A member of staff helped me imediatly, gave me aditional advice and checked the the needed quantity I need with a scanner he has. I've got the price for the whole floor in minutes. Great, will came back and buy.

Very good customer service. I bought a tub of putty a couple of weeks ago, and when I came to use it, most of it had set hard. I took it back without a receipt, and was given a credit note to get a replacement. Good service 👍

Good sized B&Q DIY store and garden centre on Sealand Road, Chester.

This morning I had my best ever experience in visiting b and q. I was looking around the shelves searching for a product to sort out an issue with Diy I had at home and an employee who has the name Sandra on her uniform asked if she could help at all. I had heard her helping another customer earlier. This lady really could not do enough to help me and was both professional and at the same time very respectful. Thank you so much you are a credit to the company you work and whilst I know you said it is a new job for you there I must say you made my day very special and inspired me to carry on shopping at b and q. You are a star thank you

I was struggling to dismantle a small part for a telescope and had already visited the store yesterday and bought an allen key set. Unfortunately none of these fitted and I took the part to the store. As it was Bank Holiday weekend the store was mad busy. Fortunately I found Matt who works on the timber section who could not have been more helpful. He helped me find the bits I needed and even took the trouble the trouble to dismantle the item for me. He was polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. So rare today!

Often head here as it's our closest DIY store. Utilized the wood cutting service and the staff were happy to help and offered a speedy service. Highly recommend.

Had great service at the b&q yesterday. The person in the paint’s department knew a lot about paint and they knew the location of almost everything in the store. Beaty is definitely an asset to your branch.

very spacious and so much choice to choose what you want, i could spend all day in there and staff are so nice and friendly well worth a visit if your ever in area.

B&Q Chester, its Massive!!!
I thought Erdington, Birmingham was big but this is way way bigger.
I only went for some boarding and to take advantage of the cutting service. The young man operating the saw was extremely helpful, even checking my drawing and questioning my sizes as they didn't look right for the scale.
I'm so glad he did as I had a dyslexic moment and transposed my numbers, good job I had my notes and thank you for his diligence. Got home and my cut wood fitted perfectly.

i had a query with wallpaper i had bought and 2 of the staff were very helpful and very pleasant i will be going back and can recommend there is alot of choice.

Loads of great stuff. I bought a strimmer and carved a rude word into my ex's front lawn.

Helpful staff and a good selection of products

Staff are helpful if u ask politely store acces is great for wheelchairs and disabled toilet is quite large I felt toilet roll holder ear too far back but that could be just me. Highly recommend going for a browse around
