Grape & Grain

Stopped in by chance at the weekend, great selection of local artisinal products and alcohols. I'm keen on my craft beers and the guy working at the time was more than willing to have a chat about what the local breweries were up to and what stock he was getting in future. I'll definitely be coming back here more in future.

Love this place. Really helpful people selling delicious drinks and foods. They've started selling drinks /pastries to consume on the premises (currently hot drinks, soon to introduce wines etc 🍷 😀). Can't recommend enough.

I do not live locally and needed to buy some wine, for a friend who lives in Haywards Heath. I phoned Grape and Grain and spoke with Ed. Ed helped me chose a couple of bottles of red and sorted delivery for me. Thanks Ed for your great customer service and knowledgeable advice.

I come here often, the staff are very knowledgeable and nice people. The shop itself is incredibly well stocked with high quality products. I’m a critical guy so I don’t use the word incredible much but this place is that

Easily overlooked but worth seeking out, this fantastic off-licence / delicatessen on the Broadway has tons of products and expert knowledge.
Take aways of fresh (from the keg), caned and bottled beers from local, UK and international breweries and vineyards plus a fantastic cheese and cured meats counter.
There is so much in here for everyone you'll have to check it out yourself!

A fantastic shop which offers Belgian beer and meat snacks... what more can you ask for? Well they also have a wonderful cheese selection, English wines and an amazing delicatessen range. Plus the folks who run the shop are super knowledgeable and if they don't have it, they can usually find it for you. The prices are fair, service is excellent and range is amazing!

Great selection of ales including local breweries, wines and deli food especially Italian. Really thoughtful independent with a top rate buying policy matched by expert and knowledgeable staff. I just love popping in here especially since they’ve managed to manage COVID restrictions while maintaining good humour and excellent service.

Excellent shop with excellent people. Their cask ales are usually top gear. On one recent occasion, my Harvey's Best was poor and I had to chuck it. I mentioned it briefly the next time I was in a couple of weeks later, not wanting anything in return, but Ed insisted on giving me a full refund. Now that's trust ... a customer's trust in the shop, and the shop's trust in the customer.

Great shop. Fantastic selection of beers and wines and an enviable selection of fresh and packaged food. Covid 19 doesn't stop them either. They're still operating as per their published hours, observing social distancing in-store and doing deliveries.

We have lived in Haywards Heath for over 10 years, and have had 10 years worth of good advice, wine and cheese from Grape and Grain. This culminated in a recent plea for a home delivery due to having to self isolate prior to Christmas. Although their delivery cut-off had passed, the owner agreed to personally deliver a selection of cheese with port, which as always was delicious. I was incredibly grateful, and would have no hesitation recommending a helpful and knowledgeable team.

The owners are very helpful, knowledgeable and lovely people. As well as a broad range of wines etc, there is a good selection of deli and continental food, which make great gifts. They also sell fresh baked baguettes and rustic ciabatta- still warm and delicious.

A friendly off licence. With a small but interesting stock of Belgian beers. Not open on Mondays.

An amazing selection of cheese to compliment a wonderful array of international wines and a plethora of delicious soft drinks. A cornucopia of yummy delights..... Angelica and Ed are always excellent and very friendly

Charming and enthusiastic staff, wide range of quality wines and world wide & local ales along side excellent cheeses and hams/sausages, olive oils and balsamic vinegars and much else besides.

Fantastic cider and great folk behind the counter. Friendly atmosphere and absolutely the best place to grab some cheese!

These guys are absolutely experts! Really knowledgeable and give great recommendations. Good place for gifts as they make hampers too.
