We ordered 8 pizzas to take out as we were a big group of 12. It can get pretty busy so you usually have to book in advance, even for takeaway slots.
Brilliant pizzas, friendly service, so nice to find this gem in Presteigne. Also love that the menu changes on a weekly basis to make use of various local ingredients.

Also bought a bottle of the Skyborry Cider - made just up the road - really tasty stuff!

We love eating at Daphnes and we do regularly. There are usually 4 different pizzas on the menu. My daughter usually has Naples which is capers and olives (she has it without anchovies), there is always a really interested special - this time it was 3 cheeses including sheep’s cheese ricotta with crunchy mangetout. I am now dairy free and so have the Marinara and ask to add Pepperoni. The salad is delicious with a delicious dressing and crunchy seeds. We also love the burrata which is a type of cheese which they change the toppings each time such as lemon zest and honey and nuts. So good!! They also have homemade cider. Would highly recommend!

Tasty homemade sourdough pizzas. The burrata starter was inventive and delicious, with melon, blackberries and limequat jam. We also had the special pizza with courgettes and nduja, which was perfectly balanced. The owners were very friendly and guided us towards some tasty low-intervention wine and local ales. A must-do in Presteigne!

What a wonderful find at the gateway to Wales. From the outside you might just walk past it but Daphne’s is truly the Italian find hidden a in the valleys of Wales. True authentic Italian food focusing on pizza. The staff were really friendly and passionate about the service they provide. The menu is limited but for good reason as the pizza is as good as you might get in Italy. Homemade very unusual deserts such as Plum Ice Cream made from the plum kernels and plum sorbet, and Nectarine and Apricot Tart. If you are anywhere near Presteigne you must stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

Great pizza, salad, end & ice cream. The pizza had a delicious base & toppings. The interior has a very rustic atmospheric. Great food, well-done: go.

Great atmosphere, great staff, amazing pizza, unfortunately I was driving so wasn’t drinking, but my wife loved the cider and our son enjoyed 2 of the pale ales. And the freshly churned salted caramel ice cream and an espresso finished the meal off nicely. Loved everything about this place. Can’t recommend it enough.

Menu is based on seasonal availablity so
changes slightly at different times of year. There is a small but good choice of non-pizza mains / starters - the salad is amazing, as is the farinata - with the regular options for pizza plus a weekly special. Not a huge menu but the quality of food more than makes up for it. Also staff are friendly and there's always a cosy atmosphere. We love Daphne's and visit every time we're in town.

Delicious pizza, great salads, lovely atmosphere

Great place, great Pizza and other food, takeaway or eat in their lovely place. Good wines and beer, and the staff are totally on the ball and friendly. Go you won’t regret it. X

Great pizza, particularly good crust too. Get the salad, it is full of varied fresh things, all piled up in a green mountain with sunflower seeds on top, very moreish.

Great pizza all the time, you could be in Italy

Great food, great atmosphere and nice staff. My favourite restaurant and I live 300 miles away! Well worth the trip!

Brilliant pizza, especially the Leek and cheeses - my personal favourite. Also a special mention to the Dulce de leche ice cream - as it miraculously and single handed managed to cure a rather unpleasant hangover! Possibly the best ice cream I have ever eaten! Thoroughly recommend this lovely little restaurant.

We enjoyed some of the best pizzas that we have eaten in this country. Made even better with a carefully curated stock of wines and beers.
Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance.

The best Pizza I’ve ever eaten by far! An amazing drinks menus with absolutely delicious wines, and great service run by the friendly owners. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Will come again
