Dinky Diner

I have recently moved to the area and have been looking for a decent cafe for light lunches and bites to eat and stumbled across this on the way to Grately station, and resolved to visit.

I visited for a working lunch with some colleagues from my office and ordered a Bacon & Egg sandwich with a side of chips.

Fully expecting the usual two slices and tiny egg I was surprised to see a loaded bun with an egg that still has a yolk. It was cooked to perfection with a crisp bite that allows more flavour through.

The service was good. It was very busy and there was a slight wait but it wasn’t long and enough time to get some Sun before the food arrived.

The menu has a selection for all. Burgers to salads, Baps and baguettes. Very good.

Good prices, polite staff and good food. Will visit again.

Wow I haven’t had a breakfast like that in a while all freshly cooked to perfection real pork sausage from a local farm. (Hard to find these days) loads to choose from. Really friendly staff. And the cafe is very clean.

Only stopped for a coffee ☕☕ .. very good prices and great service

This place is a little gem. Warm and friendly welcome, spotlessly clean, reasonably priced and great food! An easy 5 stars.

Fantastic burger with the wife, best I've ever tasted, my wife also enjoyed it and she's not a burger lover. 👍 Would definitely go again. Hold on, my wife did without me with the boy 😳

The food is here is absolutely beautiful! The diner may be Dinky but the flavours are huge! Amazing staff, nice seating outside with cover - if you haven’t been here come and try it! 100% recommended!

Just updating my review from 2 years ago to say this is one of my favorite spots to eat lunch - the food is still gorgeous, the staff are so welcoming and nice - just 5 starts all around - I would give more if I could!

A quirky little diner that out performs its size. The food and coffees are excellent and great value. Easy to dismiss as you negotiate the roundabout but well worth a visit. Great value quality food and friendly service.

Love this cafe. The staff are super friendly. Perfect little stop off on a long journey.

Excellent service! Been to many cafes/diners and this is by far one of the best, if not the best. The food is of great quality much better than any services you will find on the A303, or M3! Well done

Finally found an awesome place to stop off for some food and a really good chat! The food is amazing and value for money you can't beat the staff either really good banter with these guys and being a trucker these little gems are hard to find! Definitely recommend stopping by if your passing guys

Excellent no-frills cafe, a few miles from Thruxton race circuit and Stonehenge. (We were visiting both).
Didn't check out the toilet facilities, so couldn't comment.

We stopped today for a quick snack, there was 6 of us, the service was very quick, the food was fantastic and all at a very reasonable price.

Looking forward to visiting again

Always polite and friendly and the food is Awesome. 5***** also plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Well worth a visit, just off A303 / A338 junction with easy access to all routes. 👍

A brilliant place for snacks with lovely friendly staff. I thoroughly recommend it
