I often pop into Waitrose, staff are always helpful. However today you should know you made my day. I called in and brought some bits and had lovely chat with young man at the kiosk , who said to help myself to some tulips on my way out. I had upto then had a very frustrating day and the pleasure these Tulips have given me really turn my day around so massive thank you Waitrose. Annette Bunney

Great little Waitrose, with some wonderful staff who have been there from the day it opened. Shelves are always freshly stocked and there is a lovely little cafe to grab a coffee and pastry whilst shopping.

Love my visits when I do get a chance to come. Their was a lady with red hair who worked there at the checkouts who kept giving me dirty looks and was looking down at me . So I was relieved when the lady with super short hair who wore a mask and gloves served me. She was super. And shout out to the ladies who work in thr cafe they are brilliant

Nic and Finn ….Another very professional team manning the cafe. Working together to help provide a great experience and excellent food ( Sunday 6th August)

Good knowledge of all meals and wonderful coffee served by Finn . Friendly hardworking duo.

Ladies on the cafe counter were so friendly!! (Friday 20th around 11.30am) despite the scanner not working; constantly apologising for the wait which wasn't needed a huge smiles. What a fab team 👏🏼

Quiet, usual helpful staff. All shelves fully stocked. Some good offers. One couple had a trolley full of Endeavor Aussie white wine at half price (£3.55 a bottle!)

2023 Update: It was a wonderful place, with a very friendly team, it was my favourite local shop. However since the introduction of more self-checkouts it is no longer my favourite local store. Often a frustrating and chaotic end to a shopping experience - shame on you Waitrose for going this way - losing the personal touch. This has resulted in us not visiting as often.

Went in solely to pick up a John Lewis order but stayed to have a look around and purchased a few things including their £10 Indian meal deal which was nice. Fairly new shop, nice and clean and airy. Small but friendly staff. Typical Waitrose quality. I quite liked it.OK.this is my follow up after a further visit which was entirely opposite to my first. Again went in to pick up a John Lewis purchase. The two charming ladies who served me the first time had given way to another"person" of the male variety. After he handed me my parcel I said I thought I would leave it on the counter whilst I went into the shop, where I might have spent some £££s. His response " I can't guarantee it will be there when you come back" WHAT! Where is the customer care! Is he for real? What a total ****. I picked up my parcel and walked out, never to go back again.

Visited the store yesterday morning and was greeted at the tills by a delightful young lady Ella or Ellie I believe her name tag read. So polite and helpful, made for a pleasant trip and left with a big smile on my face, we need as many people like her spreading contagious positivity around especially during these dire times. Will certainly be returning again:)

Normally a very pleasant experience, staff are generally very good, plenty of parking, although the store is not a superstore, it does have all the usuals, plus a small cafe.

Lovely little supermarket. Ample parking, great selection of quality foods.
A little more expensive than your general store.
Lovely cafe to relax in after your shop or get a free one "to-go" if you're in a rush.

I would like to thank the staff & Manager at Waitrose Mountsorrel.
I personally found in these surreal times we are experiencing at present, this store to be one of the best stores to shop in.
Well thought out plan for shopping within government guidelines, easy to follow floor signs.
A controlled number of customers within the shop.
Plenty of staff in store, also well stocked shelves.
Cannot forget a great attendant outside, organising customers, trolleys & baskets.
Thank you.

I have been to Waitrose in montsorrel last week with my 9month old baby who was not letting me shop/wouldn’t sit on her pram.. and I must say the staffs were amazing. The guy unloaded everything from my trolley scanned and helped me pack it. I love the way he went next level to help me .. I would definitely go there again.
