The Rothley Court

Love this place. Just beautiful venue and great food and people. I am a wedding photographer and done quite a lot of weddings here now. It's so beautiful for brides getting ready, there is just such a gorgeous room that overlooks the gardens.I love the chapel. Have done weddings with the ceremony in one of the function rooms but the chapel is beautiful. Grounds just make the best backdrop and so many different places to get amazing photos in. If you are planning a wedding, consider this venue because it is brilliant all round.

Loved our four nights here, food was great and well priced good wines. Our room on the third floor needed upgrading but it was serviced well and very clean. They have a very nice annex close by which would be suitable for people with mobility issues

Stopped here for lunch (so can't comment on rooms). Fantastic food and friendly staff. Really good pub classics ordered: Pie and Mash, Fish and Chips and a Lasagne along with 3 pints of San Miguel. Stunning location and super fast service. 5* in all aspects and will be back for sure😊

Me and my wife had our wedding here 20th April.
First of all I would like to thank Everyone there. The staff were very attentive, and nothing was too much. They made us feel relaxed and welcomed.

All of our guests had an amazing day and night, and the breakfast in the morning was beaut!

Lovely place, very historic and pretty. Nice and peaceful. The service from the staff was nice. The room was adequate but too warm for my liking. The heating was on high, so it was turned off and window open
The phone signal was nonexistent unless you stood in the car park.
Internet was hit and miss.

Will definitely be back when working in the area 🙂

Came in and was greeted by a blue haired girl! Big smile . Phone was ringing non stop and she was doing check ins, a lot for one young lass.

Went into the bar and Dave was lovely, brought my tea over to me.

We booked a table for 11 for my son's 21st birthday and even though they were busy with functions, the staff were attentive and looked after us. Food was excellent and quick to arrive. It is a beautiful building in a stunning setting I will be returning thank you to the chef and staff.

Myself and my wife got married at Rothley Court 11 years ago, so has a special place in our hearts. It's a beautiful place to visit, it's got history written all over it, the restaurant is lovely, it's got a nice bar area and has outside seating, the staff are always lovely, helpful and welcoming. It's just a stunning place to visit to have a drink or food.

We went to my husband's office party. Starter and dessert, I loved it. 😍 but I'm a spice lover, so I don't like the main course. The presentation and the workers are so good at their jobs. And there is a dancing 💃🕺 place also. Overall the place is very nice 👌👍🤩

It was an enjoyable experience for my dad's birthday. It was a long time since coming here as my parents and I moved to Devon 5 and a half years ago and was so lovely to visit this place again.

Really lovely venue, full of atmosphere and antique detailing. Historical and interesting.

Great for weddings, plenty of parking.

Visited in the fall and had a lovely time! Great location, attractive garden/grounds, spacious room and very friendly, helpful team members. Dinner in the restaurant was really good too!

We visited the restaurant and the menu was full of good choices. Not overwhelming and everything was reasonably priced. Food was delicious and the interior was amazing. Staff was super friendly, especially Sydney who made everyone feel special. She was the only one who were actually smiled in general when we were there. Huge thanks for everyone there, who made our visit enjoyable.

I stayed over for the night after visiting a friend . The room was perfect for what I needed and what a beautiful hotel and setting it is in . The breakfast was spot on and the staff were excellent as well.

I messed up my booking by booking the wrong weekend. He managed to sort it out and give me the superior wood paneled room I had seen on the website! He's a star for getting me out of a hole.
Food very good and sensible prices. Staff all very friendly.

We stayed at Rothley Court Hotel for a weekend away to watch our beloved Hammers take on Leicester and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, and the free parking was a big bonus. The hotel has plenty of traditional character, and our superior room was a good size. The only minor issues were that the paint on the windows needed a touch up and there was a broken pane of glass in the bathroom. However, these were minor issues and did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the stay. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, and there was a christening party being held on the day we stayed, but it didn't disturb us at all. We would definitely visit Rothley Court Hotel again.

Had a family member's civil ceremony and it was beautiful. The back area near the bar was gorgeous. The front lawn was kept neatly, very green. Stunning old trees that tower over the grounds!

We was kindly donated a wedding by a fabulous charity called 'Gift of a Wedding ' as unfortunately I have stage 4, Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
Rothely Court offered us their full venue including chapel for our wedding free of charge, including the bridal suite for our wedding night & prep.

We opted to pay for a hot/cold buffet and we were not disappointed.... everything was perfect!
Our day was wonderful, everything and more we could of ever wished for,
unfortunately I was ill for half the day (chemo, not alcohol 😆) but memories were made, pictures taken, cake eaten, tears shed (for the right reasons) and all my family and friends in the same place at once (which was a miracle)
We could never of done any of this without you and your kind donation.. you really are angels 😇

...and families like ours will have memories to cherish forever ❤
