This hardware shop is a real Aladdin's Cave. It has such a varied and wide choice of products. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Ideal for anyone from a professional builder to a beginner DIY. Yes would go again.

I have yet to go in and not come out with an item that I needed. Superb old fashioned courtesy to customers regardless of whether you are buying a single small washer or spending hundreds. This place is worth it's weight in gold. We don't go to the big DIY stores any more because we know we get better products, a wider range and a much warmer welcome here.

Great shop with friendly staff. They are so helpful. They have a massive range of items and if they havent got it in stock they will try their hardest to get it for you. No minimum purchase so if you need 1 nut and bolt that's fine. Parking right at the front door too.

This shop has never failed me, whatever my needs. The service is brilliant and there's no fear of this being a 'trade' only establishment. Whatever I needed is found , there's no multiply plastic packaging you buy what you need and no more. A step back in time store that puts B&Q and Homebase to shame. Excellent thank you

Perfect for all your diy needs . Great selection of power tools and a large selection of bits and bobs that are useful around the house and garden . Easy to park and fairly priced .

I use this shop all the time and have done for years . Friendly and helpful staff and the fact you dont need to buy 100 bolts when you only need a couple is perfect .Good old fashioned local service way better than the big companies who dont care and dont have that personal touch . A ready supply of DIY hardware equipment. You’ll find staff are always cheerful and welcoming. Everyone is ready to assist your purchase with their how-may-I-help attitude. If they don’t stock your requirements, they’ll try their best to tell you where to find it elsewhere. Great customer service!

Always very friendly and helpful. Ideal for small quantities of items if you're doing a small project. You can even buy single screws if you need which is perfect for DIY.

If Carlsberg made hardware shops then Fletchers would be on draft everywhere. A welcome antidote to the ubiquitous DIY supermarket, helpful, locsl, decent stuff, good prices and serves both home and professional requirements with equal aplomb. I always go there as my first choice.

This has got to be the best hardware store left in Lancashire, if not the world. Expert help and advice on anything related to DIY and Moto Guzzi, no waste-of-time fancy goods or gimmicks and an amazing range of stock, usually with either top quality products or cheaper alternatives with (sometimes painful) explanations as to which is best suited for the job in hand. Makes the prices posted in so-called 'trade' warehouses look sick and shows DIY Supermarkets to be total profiteers. Why ever would you go anywhere else? Also, Ashworth's Woodyard just down the road - another wonderful establishment offering unbeatable value and service.

Fantastic shop that has everything you need from a wheelbarrow to a washing line, all the guys are ridiculously knowledgeable and direct you to the right product every time.
I can’t recommend Fletchers highly enough, the service they give and there’s always a pot of coffee on the go too 👌
