One of the best pizza’s I tried in the UK so far! Amazing taste starting from the tomato sauce to the dough!
It was my first time here and although it’s quite distant from town, I would definitely come the extra mile again! Service was amazing, people were so friendly and their desserts are a must try! Authentic Italian food! 100% recommend it.

Stopped by here for breakfast.

1st visit. Omg! Who knew? Six hills virgins attended Sicilian Sunday lunch. This is authentic Italian food at its best.

My experience today was incredible, that breakfast was fantastic. The attention to detail in each of the individual items was very nice and I appreciate it allot. The sausages you serve in particular are the standout of the meal. I had a full English breakfast and a cake with a Jam center which was also impeccably prepared. You also got a tea or coffee for free which was nice and as prepared at home which was also brilliant. I can't wait to return for pizza makes me quite excited to of came today. The ambiance inside was fantastic I liked the photos you have hung on the walls I think they're tasteful and provide a great decor, the wine fridge is well stocked and presented also their drinks fridge is well stocked and presented. Everywhere is very clean and the attention to detail is fantastic I liked being here is the truth.

We had to wait a long 4 months to get a booking but wow, the wait was definitely worth it! So friendly, the atmosphere and ambiance is amazing, the quality and quantity of food is beyond reproach and top it off with a great price. Just remember it’s cash only! I do apologise but the we started the food before remembering to take a photo 😂

OMG this place is amazing, i can't believe all them mornings i am dropping my kids nextdoor to school and never stopped by for a breakfast. A work collegue recommended it, we had lunch one of the lads had a huge breakfast, the italian food caught my eye and i wasant dissapointed with my choice. I had spag bowl, wow that was the best meal i have ever had, it's not cooked with mince he uses slow cooked beef : ). The owner came out he was really friendly and passionate about his food. We had a couple of italian beers to wash it down and sat in the beutifully kept terrace area. After the meal we went inside the cafe and had the best cakes, that Bakewell tart with a diffrence was unreal washed down with a gorgeous coffee. I can't wait to visit again with my wife and kids but it's always so busy at night so i will pre-book and im going to try the pizza next time. You have to go, this is fine quality food in a hidden little gem of a cafe on the A46. And finally a little thankyou to the really friendly waitress that looked after us, top quality : )

Amazing food and staff ❤ I feel lucky to have eaten here last night. The food was THE NICEST Italian food I’ve ever had and the restaurant staff were the friendliest kindest people! The owner and chef personally came to introduce himself and asked if we enjoyed our meals - I’ve never experienced this before. I really cannot wait to come again soon! X

Completely fantastic food. Well worth diverting on to the A46!
And the cakes are to die for!! Try a Chantilly cream one from the chiller on the left, now you know where to look!!

This a rare thing: home cooked food by an authentic Sicilian chef. Where else would you find this? The whole lunch experience was perfect in every way: hospitality, taste, presentation and value. I can't wait to visit again. Bravo!

Yes it's in a Cafe by the A46, but don't let that put you off. Went there for the Pizza evening after seeing recommendations. We all thought the Pizzas were among the best we've ever had. Leopard spotting just right, great toppings, lovely fresh and light tasting tomato topping.
Loved the stuffed courgette flower starter, and the Cannoli was delicious to finish. We were made to feel very welcome, and the service was excellent. From the number of repeat customers there when we went, they clearly have a winning formula at Six Hills.
Looking forward to going again.

Where can I start... This pizzeria is among the best in the country! Being of Italian heritage it's very hard to find Italian food in the UK quite like Nonnas, but I can assure you that you're in very good hands - Carmelo is an unbelievably talented chef, not only does he hand make the best Italian pastries, but he also hand makes the best pizzas you can ask for. You're also greeted by the lovely Ruby (Carmelo's Wife) who makes you feel very welcome and very much like part of the family. I'm sure you'll have one of the best experiences at A46 Cafe & Pizzeria, so don't hesitate to book!

My personal favourite restaurant in Leicester. Stunning in every way. The manager is a rare breed of a good person, food exceptional.

Warm & welcoming. Great place to eat with close family and friends. You must book in advance so the chef can ensure you can be accommodated and food waste is kept to a minimum. All food is made fresh on site.

Wonderful experience as ever, amazing food and service, no glorious sunset this evening, but next time...

I stopped here on my journey, i have ordered the chef’s recommended bolognese pasta which was absolutely fantastic, the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Pasta was served fresh and was just like the one we had in Rome. Absolutely fantastic! The menu features English breakfasts, pizza and different selection of pastas. We are yet to try the pizza as during December they are served only on specific days.

3 sausages 3 bacon 2 eggs bean Tom's mushrooms fried slice 2 toast and tea £8.50 good breakfast recommended nice and clean on the A46 heading towards Newark next to a shell garage

Simply the best Pizza and puddings I have had in a while.

A must place to go for Italian food. Only on a Friday and Saturday night.

Amazing service and delicious food. Definitely going to go back very soon.
