I had an amazing dining experience at Janu Restaurant! The quality of the food was outstanding - every dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors and made with fresh ingredients. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made the evening even more enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, especially considering the high quality of the food.

Parking was a breeze, with ample space available, and the ambiance was lovely, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The best part was the extensive menu that catered to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. They offered a wide range of delicious Indian dishes, ensuring there was something for everyone. I can't wait to return to Janu Restaurant for another delightful dining experience!

So went on a Tues night at 9pm ordered.2 papadoms each and I ordered a chicken madras 2 naans , chips , few beers, the sauce tray was full ,the red sauce was banging , when the main turned up the chips were hot, the madras and 2 naans were spot on , had lots of curry's, the previous reviews say this place is a hidden gem, rated at 4.2 on Google, this was an absolute top notch curry.

We have been here twice and both times been impressed with the service value for money and flavour.

We've reserved a venue for the baby shower event. Everything, from the food to the decor and ambiance, is perfect. Since it's our family restaurant, we always choose it for its delicious food!

Some places make you feel happy with the ambince, but this place will be feel you with traditional India food tastes. Definitely, it will be feel like small trip and food with family.

Brilliant meal and food ! The decor may be tired and the layout a little school dinner hall but put that to one side as the food is something special. We had a range of dishes as starters and they were soon cleared though, with the mains all being eaten and everyone enjoyed their dishes. A rice portion would be fine for two people but it all depends how hungry you are! There’s an outdoor BBQ out back which is fired up on a Sunday with lots of outdoor seating. Will certainly be returning soon.

This is our go to Indian! Nice cosy sit down, with food always been 10/10 ! Bang on each time , service could be alittle quicker but overall brilliant staff and food with excellent customer service :)

We've never had better Indian food in Leicester. The portions of each item were generous, and they were all delicious. To begin, there will be a mixed barbecue and a mixed vegetable grill. The main course is a chicken curry with garlic naan and lamb biryani. all mouthwatering and delicious.😋😍

This was the perfect place for large family gathering. Spacious and not hot and overcrowded with other customers. Lots of parking.
The food was brilliant. Veg and non veg. Massive portions and excellent prices. The whole family were satisfying and happy. Would definitely book again

Fantastic meal with helpful & friendly staff, the lamb was so tender too.
Very quiet on a early Monday evening just after opening but will go back another time when it's busier.

Food is amazing. Could be any amount of rush but food is always there on time. Very underrated in my opinion. Paneer yum.

Everything is good. But some food tests were not good.
I like Chicken masala was very good like home made with tandoori roti.

The best lamb jalfrezi I've ever had. Hospitable hosts and a good, reasonably priced menu. Clean, large selection of draft beers and top shelf. What an amazing hidden gem. Can't recommend enough

Always have a great meal here. The prawns with the shell on are amazing and his lamb on the bone is just like home made. Reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere and staff look after you. Can't ask for more than that!
