Cod and chips. Popped in while passing on the canal. Glad we did; the staff were efficient and helpful, and while waiting for my cod to be fried, had a lovely chat with a lady who I took to be the owner or manager. She was very friendly and kept me updated regarding my order. Great food; batter was crisp, and the fish was moist and flakey. Ordered one regular chips, which was plenty for two of us. Thoroughly recommend this great chippy. Look forward to coming again

1st time we have ordered the take away, fish and chips was excellent the chicken cyros was loaded with chicken and a lovely fresh salad. Will be ordering again. Oh yeah my dog enjoyed the sausage

We're lucky to have this first class fish&chip shop in our village. The food is always fresh and tasty, portion size is perfect and service is friendly. I would particularly recommend the gyros on Wednesdays.

We had really good fish & chips from here, the battery was light and crispy and golden, not soggy or over done . Even though we ordered small fish and chips , portions were generous lots of things on the menu

Best fish and chips in the area. Had to queue for 20 minutes as it was so busy but the queue was socially distanced. Fish and chips were great and very tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient with quick service. Would definitely recommend this place.

I was treated to a super of large cod, chips & curry sauce last saturday and I can honestly say, it was the best I've ever had, reminding me of the feast I'd had of my first treat of fish & chips as a child!

Absolutely lovely cod and chips and mushy peas. Friendly staff. Nice clean premises. My only criticism its cash only. I know now so will be prepared.

Extremely good fish and chips, and scampi, and potato fritters, mushy peas, onion rings. Not all for me you understand - I did share 😃
