Polite and very helpful

No respect for people, most the staff are nice, the new guy has no regard for hygiene measures considering every other shop makes an effort in this situation.

Bought a couple of chicken samosas from this shop yesterday and it wasn’t until after I had already eaten 1 that I realised they were both 2 days out of date. I went back to the shop with the samosas to inform the shop owner about them being out of date. He looked at me gone off as though I was the crazy one before showing me to the fridge section of his in date and out of date samosas. I asked him if he was ok as a business to sell out of date chicken to his customers, he said “yes, the customers like products with the yellow 79p sticker on because they are cheap” then he points to out of date biscuits at the counter that also have the 79p yellow sticker on. I told him “but it’s out of date chicken” again he looks at me as though I’m crazy before going behind the till to serve another customer. Just before I left I told him I would be getting in touch with my local council and the environment health, he looked at me and said “ok”
When I got home I called my local council and I’m waiting for environmental health to call back. I was advised by the lady I spoke to to double bag the samosa at the bottom of my fridge, which I have done.
