Greenacres Garden Centre

First time visiting today. Very quirky. Staff very helpful lots of Christmas gifts. The cafe was lovely, very dog friendly the staff are so helpful and do try the black forest hot chocolate, absolutely delicious.

Lovely garden centre. Christmas display is beautifully set up, with gorgeous variety. Puts Dobbies to shame. Superb value, and great service as always. Would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic range of plants at reasonable prices, I especially like the jungle plants. Also has a great selection of unusual ornaments, I bought 4 brass animal hooks 😍
My favourite garden center by far, much prefer it to the bigger, commercial garden centers.

Great garden centre, but I think you have to go through some sort of time portal to get here. Why? Because it's almost always empty (the "Dobbies" 700m away might be responsible for that), and, there are plants here that were saplings when the dinosaur roamed the Earth. Staff are friendly, prices are good, lots and lots of variety as it's quite a decent sized place.Well worth a visit. Sells everything from fancy flag stones to garden furniture to hot tubs to birthday cards. As of November there is a lot of Christmas items available too. So treat yourself, seek out the gateway to the time portal and visit Greenacres before it disappears into the mists of time from whence it came...

Well looked after. Very tidy. Prices reasonable and competitive with other stores. We just didn't understand why the straggling surfinias and geraniums hadn't been reduced

Only stopped for a cup of tea but the cafe was lovely with a good and not overpriced menu. Will definitely be back.

Quaint garden centre. Much quieter than Dobbies and has a lovely coffee shop. Certainly going back.

Always a pleasure to visit the independent garden centres. Larger inside than you would think from the outside. Nice to see the cafe open although we didn't pop in on this visit.

Visited today and saw some lovely plants, looked really well kept. Fantastic choice, indoor and outdoor. Really Great home wares section at a very competitive price. Compared to bigger garden centers this one is definitely 5*

It's clear to see the owners and staff are working very hard to offer something here all year round. The displays are always good quality - especially the Christmas one. Prices are very down to earth with excellent bargains to be had with out of season goods. If you're not in the mood for spending, the Cafe is good too.

Popped in for a coffee at the recently renovated cafe. Food and drink was very nice, with lovely family feel to it. Will be going back soon.

Personally I prefer it from it's better known neighbour. Always managed to get everything I wanted at a very reasonable price. Knowledge, professionalism and assistance along with friendliness of the staff has always been second to none.
